So stop negotiating, champ

Well, he wasn't wrong. President Trump needs to stop listening to his "aides":
President Donald Trump erupted at aides in an F-bomb-laden rant a week before Christmas last year, fuming over headlines that announced he was giving up his campaign promise of making Mexico pay for a border wall – and instead handing the country a 10-figure check.

The administration had made a deal with America's neighbors to the south, one that Trump hated, that would send $10.6 billion to four countries. More than half would go to Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua. But Mexico would collect $4.8 billion.

The money was meant to help governments tackle poverty, drug trafficking and other violence – the root causes of the illegal immigration wave the president campaigned against. But on December 18, 2018, the national news media he loves to hate framed it as a surrender.

'My f***ing friends are calling me,' the president yelled at aides who had convinced him to make the deal. 'This is the stupidest s**t you’ve ever done. Why the f**k would we do this?'

'I’m not getting $5 billion for the wall, and instead I’m paying Mexico $5 billion? What the f**k am I getting out of this?' he boomed.
It was incredibly stupid. But it's ultimately Trump's fault for caving constantly instead of following through on his threats. This is the problem with a negotiator. They never grasp that sometimes the best deal is no deal.

Giving up a major campaign promise "because Mexico won't cooperate" is entirely retarded. The US has the largest military in the world. Mexico doesn't need to cooperate; there are many other ways to keep invaders out than relying on the Mexicans to do it.

I've been saying for a long time, we should relocate a few of our military bases to the border with Mexico. An M1Al tends to have a deleterious effect upon the invaders, and the Mex govt I would suppose. Take them from the States that offer "sanctuary citices", and defy Federal law.

I wouldn't take the Daily Mail's word for it if they said my ass attached to the base of my spine.

At this point, any media account that purports to repeat something Trump said in private verbatim can be safely assumed to be a complete fabrication.

Remember, these are the same assholes that reported the "nuke the hurricane" story and the "spikes on the wall and gators in the moat" story, both of which were total bullshit.

If anything, I think these wild and retarded stories are being spread to suspected leakers by Trump's own loyal people just to see what pops up and where.

After all, that "nuke the hurricane" story is how they smoked out the traitorous cunt working as the oval office receptionist.

IMO these stories are totally useless from a "factual content" basis, but they do perhaps signal the plugging of one more leaky bunghole.

Gotta love the editorializing in the midst of a "news story", as the MSM is so wont to do: "The money was meant to help governments tackle poverty, drug trafficking and other violence – the root causes of the illegal immigration wave".

There ain't enough money in the world to "tackle" these problems, so 5 billion wouldn't create a dent in immigration, even assuming we buy this twisted chain of causality, not to mention the intended-to-be-subtle equating of "poverty" with "other violence".

. Can recommend, more for a peek into the thought processes of people interacting/cooperating/arguing toward a somewhat shared goal.than in instruction manual, but it's a good manual too. Trump's win/win negotiating style is referred to as the "wimp win" meaning there was money left on the table when the deal was finally struck.

I'm sure Trump has refined his deal making beyond what is in his books and it has worked well for him, but you are correct in that his desire for some deal at nearly all cost is hurting him. Though China may be suffering from the sting Trump felt from too readily making nice with our little brown cousins to the south.

Controversial rightwing head of state Winston Churchill didn't negotiate with border destroying anti-nationalist socialist Adolph Hitler.

He used maximum aggression to make Britain great again by crushing the invasion and securing Britain's borders.

Trump needs to use legal maximum aggression to secure the Southern border, including putting our gargantuan military spending to good use.

He then needs to wake up about the extremely negative consequences of our insane legal immigration.

By the year 2100, America will either be a green, affluent, deeply rooted, and peaceful nation or an overcrowded, impoverished, fractured one party socialist nightmare.

It all depends on what we do about immigration.

Different environment, different players, different rules. It doesn't help that the aides were on another team or decided to play for a Hail Mary when Trump called a Power I. In the business world Trump's aides had objectives mostly in line with his. In the world of politics, not so much.

Regardless, a wall is better than no wall.

Vox's treatment of Gammas is one of the best negotiating tactics out there.

Blogger Stilicho October 05, 2019 7:30 AM

Trump is finally getting some wall built. He's been rebuilding old wall (needed) and now the moratorium on new wall with DOD money has ended, so it is time to get building more wall. We also need more deportations, arrests of employers, and ending of all welfare, education, and medical handouts. We are getting a little of all of that but we need more. Much more. I expect much more after 2020.

One of the many reasons dems keep pushing fake scandals/projections/impeachment is that they hope it will create a perceived need for positive news by Trump's advisors who will predictably convince him not to do anything "controversial" that might generate bad feelz and bad press. By "controversial" they mean anything that would fundamentally undermine leftist power. Trump needs to stop listening to cucks and idiots. The good thing is, he does seem capable of learning from his mistakes.

Why is "pull back all of our soldiers and put them on the border" so hard to understand?

Blogger Username_Unavailable October 05, 2019 8:26 AM

This never happened. How do I know? Because the news media is reporting it. The media always lies, especially about Trump. Are we really supposed to believe that Trump -- a master negotiator and deal-maker -- had no idea what he was doing until his friends told him how shitty the deal was?

Any media account of a private conversation where Trump comes off like a clueless idiot is projection on the part of the mediawhore who wrote it. This is the leftist perception of Trump, the bumbling buffoon. It's not reality.

I don't doubt Trump wasn't happy with the deal. But he wasn't caught off guard by it. It's not unusual for Trump to concede ground on a front he's weak on only to come back to it later when he has more political capital to mount a strong attack. That's why you can't look at everything Trump does in isolation. He's constantly A-B testing, and if he sees something isn't working he's not afraid to change course, or retreat from a battlefront until he has the strength to win the battle.

This isn't 4D chess talk. This is how Trump operates. Trump has been under fire from all sides since his inauguration. He can't win every battle. But that doesn't mean he doesn't have an eye on winning the war. Trump didn't get to where he is today by thinking one move at a time and then throwing a temper tantrum the moment things don't go his way. Trump knows setbacks are part of the game -- he expects them and isn't discouraged by them.

I haven't seen anything yet that indicates Trump intends to end the empire. He does seem to want to manage it competently, which is an improvement. Trump has been avoiding sandbox wars whose only purpose is to enrich the MIC and weaken the American nation. Trump has not been pulling back our military, has not whittled down the standing army, has not started using it to defend America, has not closed overseas bases.

Trump wants to restore the former glory of the empire, not remove the imperial parasite from our nation. He's doing some good, buying us some time, so support Trump, but don't mistake him for a solution to our problems.

I think Trump is completely aware that even when he gives a completely lawful order, his chances of having it be followed are slim.

If you think Trump can just give an order and see it followed, you're wrong.

Only now, as we are hopefully approaching the beginning of the first big cleanup, would he have a chance at actually implementing any of these grandiose statements.

And if the military at the border actually shot a Mexican/etc woman or child we would hear the end of it for years.

Blogger Unknown October 05, 2019 8:51 AM

Of course the media will frame anything as a defeat. They hate the fact they don't get to pick who's President, therefore they will use word voodoo until he leaves office.

Trump doesn't need the media. Trump doesn't need Mexico. Trump doesn't need the diversity. All he needs to do is save the nation.

Blogger Damelon Brinn October 05, 2019 8:52 AM

At this point, any media account that purports to repeat something Trump said in private verbatim can be safely assumed to be a complete fabrication.

That's true, but in this case, we should hope it's true, and that he learned from it. His aides are not a good source of advice. In some cases that's because they're literally on the other side, but for many it's because they exist inside the Beltway bubble. When his instincts tell him his advisors are wrong, he should tell them to blow. When it comes to the Wall, he'd be better off selecting advisors at random from a truck stop diner in Tennessee.

"But on December 18, 2018, the national news media he loves to hate framed it as a surrender."

What a lot of people don't get is that the media pushes two separate, contradictory narratives. They are only too happy to tell everyone to the right of center that Trump is cucking on the Wall, even as they tell everyone to the center and left that he's killing children with the Wall. That's one reason compromise with them is so pointless. They're not obligated to tell the truth about it, or even to confine themselves to a single lie. Any time he compromises, they're able to use it against him twice.

It is times like this that voting seems especially effeminate. Deferring action and responsibility to a representative is something little girls do when they have a problem. I know that this is the system the US has, and we are stuck with it, but there is probably more than a million men mentally screaming at the lack of wall and its lack of guards. They just need a leader capable of addressing them and they thought they had that with Trump.

Blogger pnq87 October 05, 2019 9:05 AM

Don't let them deceive you. The border problem is eminently solvable. A combination of roving hunter killer sniper teams on the border with a license to murder and mandatory crucifixion on the border wall of any undocumented person convicted of a felony will have the desired effect. The problem is merely psychological in nature.

Blogger Lovekraft October 05, 2019 9:08 AM

Deferred justice is often the best, since it allows for time for the target to squirm.

But of the things that I think Trump should be most pissed about, it would be Robert Mueller dragging out his investigation past the mid-terms, plausibly handing the house to the Democrats. Mueller most likely had the option to wrap things up well before then.

If they're still standing, it's only because they haven't fallen over yet. The Neocon establishment has last virtually all their credibility with the GOP base. No one (who matters) takes them seriously anymore. They're done here. They might still hold positions of residual power, but they're lame ducks. I'm sure nearly everyone here agrees that the military would be better deployed along the border than in guarding the poppy-fields of Pashtoonistan for the Sacklers - who naturally remain free to carry out more criminal activity. The only logical explanation is that Trump is not the actual commander in chief of the Banana Empire Legions. If you read deeply enough into Neon's latest posting, there are some allusions to their orders actually coming from Soros and the British Pedo-Elites. Recent instances of Generals crowing about the great strategic advantage of diversity while a Marine Colonel was relieved of command for saying "faggot" support this theory - along with much else. Trump has (so far) kept us out of the Neo-Clowns' desired wars with Iran, Russia and/or China. If the theory in Neon's post about the command and control of the Banana Legion is correct, this alone is a remarkable achievement on Trump's part.

Obviously, Trump should stop taking advice from the Swamp on how to deal with this enemies. Making threats and never following through is not an effective negotiation tactic, especially with enemies one cannot negotiate with in the first place. He would be better off following his gut instinct than listening to wormtongues like his Satanist Son-in-Law and his Daughter (a convert to Satanism).

While President Trump is indeed a godsend, there are limits to what he can do and what he will do. He will not try to destroy the GOPe, but he clearly seeks to tame it. In that, he has had some success, if not as much as he would like.

Let's be fair. Even those of us here, as fully committed nationalists, are still working out our philosophical details. We've gone from Alt-Right through Pan-Nationalist to Christian Nationalist. We got the same problem here, only far worse.

PA to receive more than 1 billion shekels from Israel

To wit:

"In February, Israel decided to withhold about $10 million a month from revenues of some $190 million it collects on the PA's behalf.

Immediately after Israel’s decision to offset the money paid to terrorists from the PA tax funds, the PA announced it would not take the partial sum of the funds from Israel."

Instead of just walking away and letting the PA go bankrupt due to their absurdly (to Western minds) hard-line stance on the matter, the government is resuming payments with some face-saving measure to for Abbas to claim victory, for real or appearance, since it's not even clear if he's receiving the partial or full amount.

Trump's instincts are at least right, and one hopes he will do good on this signature promise. This comes from the top-down. It's unlikely Bibi or most of his contenders on the right will change this.
