NEVER believe the official story

The governments of the West are RELIABLY lying to you. Not occasionally. Not sometimes. Predictably. Dependably. RELIABLY.
A leaked email last night dramatically indicated that the UN’s poison gas watchdog had butchered and censored a critical report on an alleged chemical attack in Syria. If substantiated, the revelations will be severely embarrassing for Britain, France and America, which launched a massive military strike in retaliation without waiting for proof that chemical weapons had actually been used.

Unconfirmed reports and videos, showing the corpses of adults and children foaming at the mouth in Douma, a suburb of Damascus, shocked the world in April 2018 and led to a joint Western attack on the supposed culprit, Syria, in which more than 100 missiles, including nearly 70 Tomahawk cruise missiles, were fired.

Although the reports and films could not be independently verified, as the alleged events took place in a war zone then under the control of brutal Islamist militants, Western governments, and many Western media, took them at face value.... a dissenting scientist, employed by the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) says in a leaked email that investigations on the ground at Douma have produced no hard evidence that the alleged gas attack took place.

It appears that these facts were deliberately suppressed in published OPCW reports.

The email makes no attempt to suggest what did happen in Douma. It simply points out that hard evidence, gathered and examined by non-political scientists, does not support the officially endorsed version. And it claims that this resulted in the OPCW redacting the report to the extent that its conclusions were misrepresented.

The revelation appears to be the worst instance of ‘sexing-up’ in support of war since the invasion of Iraq and Tony Blair’s doctored dossiers. A whistleblower has made public the astonishing email of protest which was sent to senior officials at the OPCW. It says that the independent scientists’ official report on the Douma incident had been slashed and censored so severely that it:
  • Misrepresented the facts – by leaving out key information;
  • Hid the fact that the traces of chlorine found on the site were merely tiny trace elements, in parts per billion, and in forms that could have been found in any household bleach;
  • Contained major deviations from the original report submitted by impartial experts, so that it had ‘morphed into something quite different’;
  • Suppressed a total mismatch between the symptoms allegedly displayed by victims at the scene, and the effects of the chemicals which were actually found. The symptoms seen on harrowing videos shown at the time of the incident simply did not match the symptoms which would have been caused by any material found at the site.
The Mail on Sunday has seen the email of protest which one scientist at the OPCW submitted to his superiors. It refers to the original expert report from Douma which the email says was savagely censored.

This original report, if it had been published as written, would not have supported widespread claims that poison gas was used at Douma on April 7, 2018. If any such gas was used, it was not a gas known to, or detected by the scientists who visited the scene, examined the buildings and soil and carefully checked the samples. The scientists accepted this. But even this promise was then broken, and a third version of the document was issued which left out the vital fact. The wording of this report was so vague that news organisations around the world concluded – incorrectly – that it said that chlorine gas had been used or might have been used. If the key material had been left in, they could not have done this.
When people ask me why I don't believe any Official Narrative, from the Moon landing to the unemployment rate, my answer is always the same: because the U.S. government says it is true. In my experience, this is almost never the case. The Official Narrative and the elements of the truth that can be confirmed very rarely correspond.

I don't know what the precise truth is in virtually any of the more famous controversial cases. But I know that whatever they say is true cannot possibly be true, because they have been repeatedly exposed as shameless liars again and again and again and again. Read the scientist's actual email, which is posted at the link. Then contemplate what that level of intentional deception and misrepresentation applied to other Official Narratives suggests.

Frankly, it astonishes me that no matter how many times the U.S. government is proven beyond any shadow of a doubt to have lied, from the USS Maine to Pearl Harbor, most people will nevertheless unhesitatingly believe the very next lie they produce. You have to be extraordinarily forgetful to believe anything the U.S. government tells you is true, whether the claim concerns the food pyramid, global warming, or historical events.

The question of why people believe the government when it's obvious that they shouldn't ranks right up there with the question of why Ben Shapooroo looks so almost exactly like Greta Thunberg without pigtails.

This one was an obvious lie or false flag from the beginning because there was no tactical or strategic reason for the Syrians to do this and every reason not to. This report verifies what we knew all along.

It's not a matter of the father of lies being a metaphorical prince of this world. That SOB actively owns the allegiance of every major govt organization in the world (or at least the fealty of enough individuals therein to amount to the same thing).

It's rather eye opening when you consider the kind of faith we put into the government without even realizing we are doing it.

If you don't believe something until the government or a news apparatus or a science journal tells you it's true, you are putting faith in them to determine truth.

It's possible my Bible is lying to me. But it beyond doubt everyone else is. At least trusting in religious tenets provides a stable and unchanging foundation on which to build your worldview. Science, by definition, should be in flux and not fully known. Government lies according to what benefits them. It's like comic books and canons - they go through so much shifting and changing, you create alternate realities for yourself by believing everything they say is true.

The flat earth stuff is a bit out there, but I'm learning to detach myself from it. My worldview is not going to crumble if I find out the government lied; it's still the world God created even if I'm not fully aware of it's shape beyond my own little world.

It was said here: "Reality is painful, the narrative eases the pain". (I need to find who said that, so I can give credit, it was awesome. You know who you are, 'fess up.) There's the left narrative, the right narrative, in fact, numerous narratives.
On a related note,I'm thinking one could make green with a website called Exceptions R Us. I know a woman whose son was attending a church with a woman pastor. She knew that the guys around her didn't approve, so she asked if there was ever an incident in the Bible where a woman was in charge. As long as there was, she didn't want to know the details, or what else has been said, she had an exception that could be adapted to ease the pain. It's like this Social Sexual Hierarchy thing, or whatever it's called. I never looked into it much; but I thought that there were times when men's intentions or actions were misinterpreted. But I told myself, dude just STFU, because the little pedantic exceptions don't overall amount to much. If the thing has any value, and it does, it must hit with a big impact to wake people up. What's strange about human nature is how a 2% exception or anomaly instantly becomes a 68% emotional nullification. Rhetoric works.

As I recall, the general consensus here is that we didn't know what actually happened, but we were sure that the official story was a lie.

I remember being impressed by Trump dissatisfying everyone with his response, neither putting boots on the ground nor calling out the lie. Just threw some about-to-expire cruise missiles at an airstrip that had a plane that had been in the vicinity. Pretty clever, since the Deep State appeared to think they had him in a bind where he would either do their will and go to war with Syria, or play into their frame job that he was a Russian patsy.

During the civil war, Lincoln was asked if the press was reliable. Without hesitation, he replied...."ABSOLUTELY! First they lie, then they re-lie. That makes them re-lie-able."

Of course, it is not only the press that makes an enemy of the truth, in this country or any other. The Great Bismark once explained that those who love laws and sausages, should never watch them being made...to which I add official government reports. During my own tenure as an economist and city planner for 42 years, I was a daily contributor (and consumer of same) of those official government reports and I would only add that the drafts were much more useful and accurate than the final "official" versions that we released to the public. What was sent to the printer would make a nice coffee table decoration, in the place of the old ashtray, but was never a guide to the known facts on the ground, even to tone-deaf bureaucrats. Government is an every-day operation and things happen every single day but very little of what happens ever makes it into the media for public disclosure and even less ends up in front of the wooden-headed autocrats in the courts.

Blogger Frankfurt Bear November 24, 2019 11:28 AM

Same content about the doctored OPCW report was published by RT (Russian state sponsored international TV) months ago, but wasn't picked up by any western MSM. I wonder why the Mail now finally decided to release this information to its audience too. I have the strong suspicion, it has something to do with the upcoming British election, but I'm not enough into British politics to figure out the real intention. Maybe an attempt by the globalists to influence the British voters against the government and thus against Brexit even though the Mail is considered 'conservative'. I wouldn't be surprised in the least, if the fake globalist neoclowns try to backstab their own parties government in favour of the globalist agenda.

Anyhow it's sad, that the Russian state sponsored TV is now more trustworthy than any of our 'free' western MSM.

Blogger lions paw November 24, 2019 11:49 AM

As I recall there was little political will to get involved and the line in the sand was always the use of CW but when this happened repeatedly the response was slow and half arsed.

The fact that trace bleach was found on site bolsters the claim as bleach is the decontamination agent of choice for V and G agents. The videos I have seen are completely consistent with peripheral exposure to sarin.

I don't think the British electorate are smart enough to make a connection between an event which happened more than a year ago under a different PM, and the current government (BoJo et al) who are hoping to get elected.

If Corbyn starts using it as a bat to whack the tories with then you may be on to something, but it's odd that the DM published it, being that their stance on foreign interventions has been quite 'anti', and this would seem to paint the party they nominally support in a bad light. Maybe they are hedging their bets on people having short memories and hoping that instead it will make the anti-globalist, anti-warmongering angle more acute, setting trad Labour voters against the party's current homo-glob everybody is an Englishman if they want to be image.

On which note, the Labour 2019 manifesto states that they are in fact aiming to go through with their crackpot plan to enfranchise all residents of the UK over the age of 16. That means that anybody legally resident here will have the chance to vote in ALL elections. It's barking mad.

Blogger Jail Blair 2 November 24, 2019 1:27 PM

The Syrians / Russians had every reason to do this. At the end of a long ground offensive the last thing you want is to clear out a maze of ad hoc tunnels between houses. There was little will in the West and the advancing forces knew they would get away with it. Releasing sarin into tunnels is a completely rational (not justified morally) thing to do

Blogger Gen. Kong November 24, 2019 1:37 PM

Inasmuch as the forces of Cuck Island are simply poorly-paid mercs for the Rotten Banana Empire, why would their actions even surprise you? What interest does Britain - as opposed to the (((City of London))) - even have in the region??

Blogger OldFan November 24, 2019 1:50 PM

The entire narrative on chemical weapons is totally ridiculous. The reason the have seen no use since WWI is simple: they are incredibly poor weapons. Oh, it is easy to demonstrate how deadly they are on a lab animal in a glass box -now try to get an "effective field concentration" on the target. Not even counting the varaible of waether conditions it takes literally thousands of rounds of artillery, hundreds of rockets, or dozens of tactical missiles strikes (these systems scale by a factor of about 5 in warhead volume). They work best on unprepared civilian targets, because even 3rd-world armies have gas masks. When all is said and done, conventional High Explosive would be almost as effective - with no political fallout.

Far from being 'wonder weapons,' chemical weapons are not worth the trouble to use them in 90% of the tactical scenarios -they is why they are mostly found in history. They are dandy for scare tactics, however, and that is their main function today.

The reason it's so difficult to adopt a universal disbelief of "the government" is that deep down inside each of us has a biologically-driven need to "belong to the group."

Humans are not designed to be isolated, independent creatures. Only by studying our individual and collective "operator's manual" do we as individuals have much hope of avoiding the pitfalls into which we are innately prone to fall.

Our behavior is downstream of our minds, and the operation of our minds is surprisingly opaque to us. We do not think as we think we think.

RE Official lying about toxins: in 2009 (IIRC) the EPA coordinated a clean-up of an old uranium mine within the Grand Canyon National Park. The rationale for the expensive civic undertaking was the toxic lode of uranium hiding in the residues from the mine.

I attended the public meeting in Valle, just south of the park, and witnessed an ongoing inter-office dispute within the EPA. One administrator hyped the danger of the residual ore and cheer-leaded the clean-up efforts. But an honest, clearly not POZ'ed one from the Denver office spoke up to rebut her. He said that, of the millions of metric tons of supposedly contaminated dirt hauled away to a landfill in Texas - at taxpayer expense, btw - less than two five gallon buckets' worth of that dirt tested positive for radioactivity.

So, a ruse hatched by a local hauler in Coconino County, AZ, and local Park officials, and seconded by corrupted Flagstaff EPA bureaucrats spent millions of dollars shipping harmless dirt to Texas based on a lie about toxicity.

This fiasco will never be prosecuted, and the dues will never be repaid to the public fiscs. So, score one for the Obama EPA and its associated non-profits!
