A Protestant Inquisition

All of the modern churches and evangelical associations need to start purging themselves of their social justice warriors, who worship the false god of a worldly judeochrist instead of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
As the political clamor caused by a top Christian magazine’s call to remove President Donald Trump from office continues to reverberate, more than 100 conservative evangelicals closed ranks further around Trump on Sunday.

In a letter to the president of Christianity Today magazine, the group of evangelicals chided Editor-in-Chief Mark Galli for penning an anti-Trump editorial, published Thursday, that they portrayed as a dig at their characters as well as the president’s.

“Your editorial offensively questioned the spiritual integrity and Christian witness of tens-of-millions of believers who take seriously their civic and moral obligations,” the evangelicals wrote to the magazine’s president, Timothy Dalrymple.... The letter to the magazine’s president sent on Sunday also included a veiled warning that Christianity Today could lose readership or advertising revenue as a result of the editorial, which cites Trump’s impeachment last week.
This isn't about President Trump. The god-emperor doesn't need the approval of the Establishment's evangelical gatekeepers to win reelection  in 2020. He will win in a landslide regardless. This is about reclaiming the soul and spirit of the Christian organizations that have been infiltrated and at least partially converged, and ensuring that they remain dedicated to Jesus Christ, not social justice judeochristianity.

UPDATE: a reader informs us that Galli's replacement isn't going to be any better:
Most of your readers are too smart to be subscribed to CT, but as a public service I want to warn anyone with ears to hear that CT's new editor does not represent a change of direction.

I attended Park Street Church for years during Dan Harrell's time there as preaching minister.  He was most popular with the younger crowd who saw him as relevant and progressive.  His sermons were full of chuckle-inducing one-liners and skin-deep theology.  Once after service I asked him a 101-level question about end-times prophecy just to try and gauge where he was coming from with the confusing sermon he had just delivered.  I got a blank look and a non-answer.  Being intelligible wasn't a requirement for collecting his social approval or his paycheck.  Over the years I gave the man countless chances to change my mind about his motives, and he never once succeeded.

Dan has some publications out there.  One recounts a month-long experiment in living according to levitical law.  I was witness to this project, and it was a complete joke.  He could not have devised a more effective way to trivialize scripture while simultaneously proving himself to be an unserious scholar and teacher.  He published another gem about evolution, which basically takes the stance of "aw shucks I'm just a stupid Div. school graduate who sucks at math.  What if we just believe everything we're told about science and don't question anything?  Maybe we can still find some gaps to squeeze God into."  Try to imagine getting cucked by a bunch of evo-bio nerds if you can.  There are lots of people out there embarrassing themselves with publicly-displayed ignorance, but Harrell is in a class by himself.

Be assured, Dan Harrell's selection does not represent a return to sanity for CT.  He hates the other America with all the fury he transferred from the guys who mogged him in high school.  He is a snake, and will continue to sideline the gospel of Jesus Christ in favor of social justice and judeochristianity as he has done throughout his career.
Which just underlines my point. A Protestant inquisition is long overdue.

Mark Galli knew he had nothing to lose since he is retiring in few days, this might explain why he used such a condescending tone in his article calling for the removal of President Trump.

In the pre-Durham era, all these people are resting smugly in the notion that they will be rewarded once the Dems are back in power. Yet if 2020 is an overwhelming Trump win, the mask will slip and we will see both a mental breakdown by the left as well as a spiritual strengthening on the right.

We're in a holding pattern, where these fake Christians still have Soros dark money as a bail out once they've reduced any org they're in to an empty husk.

2020 will come and go but the result will be something new.

I do not know how Protestants operate.
As a Catholic my church is feudal and I need not to care about Rome at all. If a pope becomes too embarrassing we will vote another one.
It had been done time and time again.
BUT this parallel convergence of all denominations has the demonic script painted all over. We may be entering the last Christmas of this Earth.

There are reasons that discerning Christians now refer to it as "Christianity Astray." The anti-Trump editorial will do as much for the once-respected flagship magazine of American evangelicalism as the 2016 anti-Trump issue did for National Review, the once-respected flagship magazine of American conservatism.

Is this what pursuing dialectic with Cultural Marxists has yielded? For decades conservatives have told me that America is a Christian nation, well today that is a hogwash of a statement, America is a Cultural Marxist nation hands down that tolerates a very subordinate Christianity. Not just Protestants that need an inquisition. Pope Francis made some new rules about sexual abuse earlier this year which get rid of problem priests much quicker. Good move, but we have to keep going further. You protestants have to kick out the Judeophiles and we have to kick out the homosexuals and pedophiles. The inquisition cannot stop until every last heretic and sodomite is gone.

Yes, we have a level of insulation from anything retarded the Pope does, like trying to convince the Japs to take in refugees. You're right in noticing that every type of Christianity is being attacked at the same time. There is contempt for anything that mentions Christ by name. But do not guess or assume when the end will be. It doesn't matter if tomorrow is the last day ever, we keep doing what is good and keep fighting. Merry Christmas, warrior.

Exactly. Though we're supposed to emulate the Good Samaritan and be neighbors to everyone, we're not expected to recognize those who hate us as our neighbors.

There was a British author named Douglas Reed who started his career as a war correspondent and went on to write novels. He was a respected author until he wrote about (((you know who))). I recall reading his refutation of the Love Your Neighbor nonsense with regards Martin Luther. Luther was not a fan of YKW and pointed out the deliberate mis-translation of that verse, the verse in Hebrew actually reads, " Love thy RACIAL BRETHREN as yourself". Explains much.

For decades conservatives have told me that America is a Christian nation, well today that is a hogwash of a statement, America is a Cultural Marxist nation hands down that tolerates a very subordinate Christianity.

It should by now be painfully obvious to anyone with eyes to see, ears to hear, and a brain with which to think that very, VERY few Americans are genuine Christ followers. The vast majority are either American Civic Nationalists (on the right) or SJWs (on the left) who use a faux veneer of churchianity as cover for their secular heresy in order to lend it an air of divine sanction. Judgment Day is going to be indescribably ugly for a whole lot of people who are convinced that they have God in their corner.

They are probably already subverted heretical movements. Just like all the other heresies that have come forth.

Blogger M.S. December 26, 2019 11:53 AM

Protestantism itself is the problem. I mean if leftist groups, or cucks, or churchians or whatever they're called want to infiltrate Protestant churches and impose leftist ideology, the Protestant standard lets them get away with that, since Protestantism delegitimized the authority of the traditional apostolic Church and declared "every individual Bible reader is the final authority on what it REALLY teaches", it's pure postmodernism and I think it goes a long way explaining why the Protestant strands were taken over so quickly, compared with the Catholics and especially compared with the Orthodox, who could cast out Arius, Nestorius, the Iconoclasts, etc. into the darkness.

Blogger Akulkis December 26, 2019 4:54 PM

@ M.S.

"Protestantism itself is the problem. I mean if leftist groups, or cucks, or churchians or whatever they're called want to infiltrate Protestant churches and impose leftist ideology, the Protestant standard lets them get away with that,"

No, you silly goose.
ALL of that was preceded by Vatican II.

As to where it all started: The Bishop of Rome did that when he decided in that he should be declared the biggest fish in the sea, and broke off from Constantinople and the rest of the Church.

Any Roman Catholic complaining about Protestants being "splitters" is the ultimate hypocrisy.

And what exactly was Martin Luther's reason for starting the first "Protestant" sect other than Rome's clear and unambiguous departure from the Bible, all based on "traditions." And we all know what Jesus said about "the traditions of men" which differ from "The word of God." His accusations against the Pharisees are just as applicable to the Roman church.

Yes, there are goofy Protestant denominations which take up every fad that comes down the pike. How is that any different in form from contradictory pronouncements from Rome with regards to "Papal Infallibility"??? and at least those crackpots don't declare their strange, non-biblical beliefs to be "universal" (that's what the word Catholic" mean).

Right now, in Rome, there's a gay pope, who is all but flagrant about it, and who says that nobody should be too hard on pedophiles, and gives his blessings to people who endure hardship while invading other countries, calling them "migrants" as if their "hardships" are not self-inflicted, and most recently made the false allusion to Mary and Joseph, as if they were some sort of outsiders who to become permanent squaters in Bethlehem, when the exact opposite is true -- they went to Bethlehem because they were COMPELLED TO RETURN TO THEIR CITY OF BIRTH due to ROMAN TAX LAW. And Mary and Joseph had never crossed the borders of the Roman Border, let alone clandestinely infiltrating into any part of it.

Most Protestants really understand that their are problems in their sect, whatever that is. However, getting spoken down to by those who defy the CLEAR instructions "Call no man your father" (and what does the word "Pope" mean, if not father, as it is derived from the word Papa, father; and also the Roman tradition of referring to even the local priest as father). The rampant idolotry, Mary-worship, etc. You've got far more problems in the Roman church than any dozen Protestant sects put together.

People living in glass houses should throw stones at those who are at least living in wooden shacks.

Before complaining about the mote in my eye, remove the beam from your own.

Blogger Akulkis December 26, 2019 4:57 PM

By the way, the Protestant sects in the U.S. which fell most quickly are the ones which are most tightly bound to the very liberal enclaves of the East Coast, but again, PRECEDED by the heresy of Vatican II.

Blogger M.S. December 27, 2019 11:30 AM

Akulkis: I am not Catholic but EO. Some of your objections to Roman Catholicism I share. However I see no reason to accept the "if Extrascriptural, then false" standard you suggest. Sola Scriptura is not truth, it's a system and a category set up by men, a system not found in Scripture itself, as even the Calvinist R.C. Sproul Jr. admitted, and Calvinism is the purest essence of Protestant bigotry. You know "facts don't care about our feelings"? Facts don't care about our systems. Facts and truth simply ARE and they don't simply go away because our systems and categories declare them invalid. If the Virgin Mary really told three Portuguese children the future of the 20th century during World War I in Portugal, we can't reject that because "it's not in the Bible".
There are more things in Christianity, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your Sola Scriptura.

Akulkis wrote:the CLEAR instructions "Call no man your father" (and what does the word "Pope" mean, if not father, as it is derived from the word Papa, father;
