NFL Week 16

The Vikes are in the playoffs thanks to the Rams' loss last night.. And whether they can run down Green Bay for the NFC North title or not, beating the Pack at home would be a nice prelude to a strong playoff run.

Discuss amongst yourselves.

The Packers vs. Vikings game should be a good one to watch. Depends on which Packers team shows up. The Rodgers-led smooth offensive machine or the stumbling to a victory via the bend but nearly break defense. For the Vikes we will see just how much Cook's absence will hurt them.

I just hope the iggles game isn't too unwatchable.

Thanks Jets. You had one job, and you couldn't even do that. Where were the idiots that lost to the Bengals? Those guys couldn't show up today?

Blogger Goodnight December 22, 2019 6:46 PM

Prescott is just awful today. He has consistently had one of the lowest completion percentages of any starting QB in the league, but today he is just downright sloppy. I would be shocked that the Cowboys have bet their future on this guy. But then I remember how things work in Jerryworld and think "yeah, that's about right".

Everything comes down to the last week for the small market Titans. Here's to one last push for the playoffs!

Go Packers !!!

Blogger Shane Bradman December 22, 2019 7:31 PM

What is happening? Seahawks losing to Cardinals is embarrassing. Next week against the 49ers is going to be a live or die situation.

Blogger thalios December 22, 2019 7:39 PM

Will Jerry Jones finally fire Jason Garrett? It's been time for a while.

Blogger Retrenched December 22, 2019 7:41 PM

Congratulations to the Eagles, who earn the right to get beat by either the 49ers or Seahawks in the first round.

At least Garrett will FINALLY be gone after this year.

My prediction is Patriots and either the 49ers (ugh) or the Saints going to the super bowl. I just checked the betting odds and turns out Pats vs Saints is on the menu, at least for now.

I h8 Monday Nite Football because it's on ESPN and I don't get ESPN fuck ESPN go Packers!!

Blogger Shane Bradman December 22, 2019 10:26 PM

I hope Baltimore makes it to the super bowl, they've been excellent this season. Ravens vs Saints would be awesome.

Blogger Jack Amok December 23, 2019 12:02 AM

Seahawks need to fire Ken Norton Jr and their entire O-Line.

Like the gamma who strikes it big but can never get out of his behavior patterns, most Eagles fans can get a super bowl but will never stop being pessimistic about their team.

The Eagles were 1 or 2 stupid plays from beating the Seahawks a month ago. They're not as scary as their record might lead you to believe.

most Eagles fans can get a super bowl but will never stop being pessimistic about their team

It's easier -- and more accurate -- to be pessimistic, because Philadelphia is not a city of winners. Each of the four major teams have managed exactly two championships apiece in the last 60 years, with decades-long dry spells in between (except the Flyers, who won in '74 and '75 and never again).

Which might seem actually pretty good, but we live in the shadow of NYC, and that skews perceptions. Especially since they cheat by having *two* teams in each of the sports!

To men of a certain age, the Eagles were terrible during their formative years ('60s and '70s), so that set expectations appropriately low. In recent years (2000-) they've been reliably better-than-average, building false hope only to inevitably choke at the end. The famous Andy Reid "2 minute offense" that required 5 minutes to execute...

Then again, I'm sure the Minnesota and Buffalo football fans have similiar confidence in their guys.

One more week to go before the start of the Urban Cowboys era.

This has been the strangest season as a Cowboys fan. To have a top 3 offense and top 10 defense, and yet have a losing record this late in the season.

On top of that, the Cowboys still somehow have a shot at the playoffs. The Giants very well could beat Philly, and the Skins appear to be in full on tank mode.

Can the Cowboys step on their own dicks enough to pull off the loss next week?

That would be an interesting bet.

Blogger James Lovebirch December 23, 2019 5:22 AM

Yep, I thought the parallel was funny. My grandfather whose formative years were in the 40s still thinks Braman is the owner, so he can't stop complaining about how they'll never win anything because the owner is too cheap.

Blogger Gettimothy December 23, 2019 6:44 AM

never expected the bucs to beat the Texans. .500 season is a good goal. Arians is building a team worth following

Blogger OS2Tech December 23, 2019 9:45 AM

Saints beat the Titans yesterday, and now I find myself cheering on our Supreme Dark Lord's Vikings in their match against Green Bay tonight. A victory by Minnesota pretty much guarantees New Orleans the 1st Seed in the NFC, which means it is two home games to the Super Bowl. Considering that the Saints are 5-1 at home during the post-season tournament, those odds look pretty good.

Blogger Ian Stein December 23, 2019 12:10 PM

Would like to see a Brees vs Mahomes shootout in Super Bowl.

Blogger OS2Tech December 23, 2019 1:05 PM

That could be an interesting matchup, but I am willing to bet that the one that will gather the most attention is Drew Brees vs. Tom Brady as the WhoDat Nation plays the New England Elvises. Personally, I think it has gotten to the place where EVERYBODY hates the Patriots; a second ring for the Saints would be sweet, after the two previous seasons, where we got so close but lost in questionable circumstances.

Blogger Gettimothy December 23, 2019 7:13 PM

Reading Arian's post game interview, I doubt Winston will be q.b. next year. quote:

On Monday, Head Coach Bruce Arians was asked whether the high number of interceptions is something that can be corrected with adjustments or if, with Winston, they are just a matter of "him being him."

"I think it’s about 50-50," said Arians. "The corrections have been made, but the results aren’t happening."

Tim Tebow as bucs QB 2020 will sell a lot of tickets.

As a Packers fan, yikes for the vikes

Blogger Rough Carrigan December 23, 2019 11:43 PM

Kirk Cousins just isn't going to get it done for the Vikings.
Having a guy turn out to be a bad quarterback grievously hurts a team. But if he's obviously bad, a change is quickly made and a team moves on, usually without spending a lot of money and cap space on him. It's worse to have a mediocre quarterback that you overrate as good. You allot significant cap space to him and you waste much more time with him as your putative leader. You never get anywhere and you might have wasted a couple years in which your team's roster was very good and with the right quarterback might have won.

Kirk Cousins is that mediocre quarterback.

Forget NFL, VD, what the hell is going on with Milan this season?

Hello friends,
I'm a little ashamed to tell such a story. But I would like to share with you a great resource. I've had problems since my sexual organ was too small. I've been worried about this and tried to rectify the situation by means of pumps and tablets. Because of the tablets, which I ordered, I had complications and I was in the hospital for some time after that I gave up trying to increase my penis. But once I found Dr adam herbal cream. My first result was: plus 3 centimeters after 2weeks of usage. If you want to know more details and how you can enlarge your penis bigger, I recommend you to contact Dr adam today, email address or add him on whatsapp line +2348151731392.
