Unauthorized announcements

Today we released a trailer for the upcoming documentary about Owen's recent comedy tour.

In other news, the Unauthorized app for Roku is now available. This is the first of a number of apps that we expect to release in the months to come. We also anticipate releasing the Android app before the end of the year released the Android app today.

Thanks to all the subscribers who are making these things possible! But never forget that the conflict continues, as Unbearables Merchandise was deplatformed by PayPal yesterday.

Looks amazing, well done everyone involved. Great stuff.

For some reason it's sparked an urge to see Owen do a spoof documentary on the making of the new Thor comic. Hope the comic is all coming together with ease.

Love all the content you guys put out.

Don't forget to leave 5 star reviews!

This app looks great. Promises made, promises kept!

Deplatforming will continue until Globohomo groupthink improves...

Or until the tech companies get smacked so hard they can't or won't continue.

Do you have anyone within the network looking into a Biblical case for nationalism or study of nationalism through christian theology?

Faith & Heritage looks to have a decent write-up, but there's not much out there.

Looks great. Kudos to Mac, Coddington Bear, and the whole team.

Anyone using PayPal as a payment gateway needs to drop them and find another Payment Processor. Have had many friends get their funds 'frozen.' One good friend had $12,000 frozen for 6 months. This included all his operating funds for his fledgling business.

OT, but not really.
The documentary about the SDL's sport career has already been made.

Smart move on the Roku app! I've always been baffled by how bitchute and similar companies seem to completely ignore the most important market segment for video. You guys are clearly taking this seriously.

Big Bear on his homestead...living the dream. This in itself is great for Morale.

And they keep digging.

Vox,
This is a game changer for me. Many thanks. I've been watching Unauthorized on my laptop but now using the TV with Roku is a much better experience. Also the Wranglestar videos are working well on the Roku whereas they had be spotty via the web.

Thanks!

Tried UA on Fire using Firefox browser. Timed out to a blank screen. Don't have Roku. Suggestions?

Blogger David The Good December 06, 2019 6:02 PM

The Big Bear is unstoppable. Owen is going to be even better off YouTube than on it. Now we have Wranglerstar, too. Plus the Darkstream.

Anyone tired of winning?

Blogger VD December 06, 2019 6:18 PM

Suggestions?

Wait an hour and watch the Darkstream....

from Roku's About Us section:

"We believe that all television will be streamed, and that all TVs and set-top-boxes will be powered by software-based operating systems that provide a dramatically better user experience than has existed historically for the TV. Like the computer and mobile markets, a similar dynamic is happening with the big screen TV where only a small number of highly competitive platforms will exist."

The media industries are in a dynamic era and things could work out. This week's South Park also dealt with streaming

Blogger Nostromo December 06, 2019 7:59 PM

OT. After a second shooting on a Naval base I asked the wife when was the last time we had back to back shootings like this. She replied "You think its muslims?" To which I said, "They are withholding the shooter's name." Frw hours later... yeap. But we may never know the reason why! Ever single time.

Blogger Mark C December 06, 2019 8:30 PM

The Android app is fantastic, thank you!

Blogger S. Thermite December 06, 2019 10:03 PM

Outstanding! Got the Roku app and am watching on my TV now.

Maybe I’ll be able to absorb more of Owen’s verbose insights now that I can having him playing in the background rather than tying up my phone or laptop screen.

Blogger Dave December 06, 2019 10:05 PM

released the Android app today

Congrats, the app appears to be a huge hit. Every one of the already 24 reviews are 5-star.

Blogger mgh December 06, 2019 10:09 PM

Roku is a brilliant move. I tried the Roku box and a few competitors, Roku was the best. A TV with Roku built in and cable channels via internet is the best. No more multiple remotes, no clunky universal remotes.

Blogger Mauldication Bear December 06, 2019 10:55 PM

Android app a game-changer for me. Thank you, looks great! 5-stars

Blogger Heinz Gudbearian December 06, 2019 11:31 PM

The Android app looks and works great. An FYI, I could not find it in the Play store by searching for it by name, and followed the link above.

Blogger Dave December 07, 2019 12:50 AM

Now up to 68 reviews for the Android App and they're all 5-stars. Fake 1-star reviews sure to be incoming.

a number of apps that we expect to release in the months to come.

Congratulations on the apps, Unauthorized.TV crew! Are you also planning iOS apps?

Suggestions for useful next steps (from subscriber pov):

Annual subscriber here, but mostly I find myself watching or listening on DLive, YouTube, Podcasts, in that order. The apps typically have the advantage that you can skip forwards / back by 15-30 seconds with a double tap (YouTube) or a dedicated button (Podcast); DLive is yet lacking that very convenient functional feature.

But the main advantage of YouTube and DLive is that the livestreams are available for immediate replay. If your coding teams could come up with a solution that has Darkstreams, Bearcasts, etc. uploaded at least within the hour rather than a day or days, I would find myself going directly to unauthorised.tv much more often. Right now, I use the website more for archival purposes.

These livecasts are often at the cutting edge of events, and I tend to listen to yesternights Darkstream at breakfast or whilst brushing my teeth ; instead of the normie habit of listening to (((MSM))) news narrative.

But be that as it may ; I know very well that my subscription makes the other outlets of YouTube and DLive possible as well. So I will certainly continue my annual as soon as it comes up for renewal.

Keep on crushing!

Aby idea how to unauthorisedtv on a samsung tv set?

Blogger Mile High Honey Bear December 07, 2019 6:00 AM

Makes me darn proud to have been an Unauthorized Supporter since week one. Damn allergies today though! No other reason my eyes are welling up like this. Has NOTHING to do with watching Owen holding hands with his boy, as the ducks follow them blithely down the hill.....nope. Damn ragweed - anybody check the tree pollen today?

That's a feature, not a bug. Because we don't utilize advertising revenue, all that having people go directly to our site instead of somewhere else accomplishes is to increase costs without increasing revenue. Sure, we could spend more resources on bandwidth, but we'd rather spend them on making documentaries and other content.

Blogger OvergrownHobbit December 07, 2019 6:28 AM

Congratulations. Further up and further in!

Those fuckers at PayPal wouldn't close a two hat purchase on unbearable merchandise dot com yesterday without even saying why. Got er done on the new cc system.

Blogger Franz Lyonheart December 07, 2019 12:17 PM

@42, right. So I shall continue watching on YouTube and on the excellent DLive.

Blogger Mr.MantraMan December 07, 2019 12:54 PM

Never really got into the whole Bear thing, but I have to say one thing Owen has screen presence and loads of it.

Speaking of which, would be nice to have the replays on DLive enabled/hosted.

I love the way that the ducks are following Owen and his son down the slope at the end.

When I tried to add Roku channel it says unavailable in my region (Canada). I may be doing something simple wrong. I'm using this link https://channelstore.roku.com/en-ca/details/567033/unauthorized.tv

Thanks for the good works.

I have been waiting for the android app to be released for a while now. Glad it's out.

Things I like: The app allows playback in the background even when the phone screen is locked. I can minimize the app and do other things on my phone while listening. In contrast, YouTube restricts listening to an unlocked phone screen for unpaid viewers.

There are a couple features that I personally think still need to be added:

1. The screen doesn't rotate to horizontal. If I want to watch the video as opposed to just listen like a podcast, the video only plays in a vertical orientation, leaving almost two thirds of the phone screen black and unused. It also results in very small visuals.

2. There are times when I still want to be able to see the video at a glance but want to do other things on my phone at the same time. The website allows for a small "popout" window that stays on the top of other mobile apps while using them but small enough to let you do other things. As a reference, YouTube's app allows the same thing.

3. 2x playback speed. I watch not only Vox at 2x playback speed but also Owen. His streams are so long and my time so little that I adjusted my listening to keep up with him even at double the speed. Really would like to see this feature from the website added to the app.

*Also posted as a review for the app on Google Play
