Divisional Saturday
I'm entirely relaxed about this one. I would just like to see a good game in which Handsome Jimmy is sacked 37 times, Dalvin Cook rushes for 190 yards and 3 TDs, and Kirk Cousins goes 7 for 10 for 102 yards, 1 TD, and no interceptions. But I have no actual expectations. As always, SKOL!
In the other game, I have a hard time seeing a banged-up Seattle team beating Green Bay. And nothing could be sweeter than going to Lambeau and winning the NFC championship on the frozen tundra.

"Nothing could be sweeter"
Keep dreaming, Vike. But good luck against the 49ers all the same they look pretty tough!
Despite my last NFL related comment being removed, the NFL being the only subject I feel informed enough to comment upon, I'll take another swing. I don't truly trust either Minnesota or San Fran in this game, but it's hard not to like the home favorite to win. Minnesota did some work lqst week though, beating NO in NO is no easy task. The other game, nothing against Vrabel and the Titans, but BAL has been the best team all year. I want to see them in a KC showdown/ SB against the winner of the NFC.
That Z-man might have a point, you sound delusional there, GB will beat the Hags go to Frisco get whooped on and us Pack fans can come to realize there is really little to football life other than beating Chicago, and that is good enough.
Vox cracks me up sometimes
Jimmy G. wins today, but next week Rodgers is back in the Bay (Wilson/ Carroll don't do well in the cold) and will play a Super Bowl game.
In the other game, Titans make it interesting but Baltimore wins in the end.
I don't see any upsets this round, but I would like to be pleasantly surprised
My picks are already out. At this point all I want is SF to lose.
Good luck to the Vikings today and I hope you're correct about Seattle, because I'm not thrilled with the match-up for my Packers, but we shall see.
Vikings aren't winning but if they do I'll be happier than if Seattle wins against a slightly mediocre Packers.
Go Titans and go Vikings!
Jimmy's throwin' all over y'all.
Bang bang Niner Gang!
The entire offensive line of the Vikings is white. Now I really want them to win.
Keep counting the Hawks out... Seattle thrives as the underdog and are 10-1 in one td diff games. Just have to go 1-0. That being said, SKOL.
The last month and a half has been too brutal to the Hawks. Too many injuries on important players. If they win today it's a late Christmas miracle.
Started watching when it was 7-7. Now 14-7 San Fagcisco. Vikes look punchless, and suffering the usual stupid playcalling. Looks like the ghost of Denny Green is haunting them.
I'm hoping for a Packers/Vikings championship game, that would be exciting
And when the Vikes DO make a tackle, they get penalized for it.
Hope the Vikings win!
SKOL!!!
21-7. Who's got it better than us?
Looking good it's not. (4:50 to go in the third)
You can say that, yes. But no one is better at next man up than Seattle. And the last few weeks have given them opportunities to get their depth playing time. I think they have a more than fighting chance to disrupt. Oh, and, Russel Wilson...
Yah, pretty lackluster performance. The Saints must've taken it out of 'em when they played Sunday and then they had to travel to the left coast. Though usually we talk about left coast teams traveling east.
How shaky is Zimmer's job? At some point it's much easier to replace the coach instead of changing players.
its was a good season
NOBODY
SF stopped the run, and cousins had no time to pass. The game was the defensive line shutting down the vikings oline. and Bosa aint no joke.
I was thinking the viking would mix in some trick plays in the second half, something to shake things up, and maybe a few lucky turnovers to get the SF defense off their game. But it didnt happen.
I know its been said, but truly a first class Offensive line is just as important as a top rated QB. Look at Tannehill in Miami, languished behind that terrible line. Now shining in Tennessee.
After watching that game, my initial thought is that while San Francisco's defense played well, the offensive play calling for the Vikings was pedestrian and predictable and more to blame for the end result. The Vikings threw away the opportunity to stay in the game. But props to San Francisco for being consistent
Titans do a stupid thing early. Guy out of bounds first to touch. Indicates a lack of situational awareness, i.e., panic.
Due to petty personal rancor, I don't want nothin' nice to ever happen for Baltimore, and now that I no longer live in California, I'm happy to see the 49ers doing well again since I don't have to deal with their heinously smug fans.
Could be a case of the Ravens resting players week 17 and the bye last week and their...mojo has disappeared. Will they find it again in time?
Tough luck Vox. Looking better for Nate's team tonight. Go Tacks.
(BTW, looking forward to the Air Raid in the SEC. Should be interesting)
I withdraw my previous statement. I know nothing about football.
yeah. the titans sure look upset and scared.
today was the most difficult day ever... wanted the Vikes to win but couldn't actively root for them. Go Pack Go!!!!
A lot of talking heads won't know what to say on Monday if they can't talk about how awesome MVP Lamar Jackson was. Did you know he's the MVP?
I remember saying something in November to the like of “Once a defensive coordinator figures out Lamar Jackson...”
Well done Titans.
Ravens are the only team in the league with regular uniforms that look uglier than the Color Rush jerseys.
Harbaugh doesn't look like a guy that has a plan B
Lamar Jackson was a Human Turnover in his last 1.5 years in college. Don't know why NFL coaches were so hesitant to make him pass the ball. The Titans are a real threat to win it all. Nasty D and a good run game. Looking forward to the AFC Championship game.
titan. up.
Is Lamar's low wonderlic score catching up to him today?
When there is a commercial break in the football, I get to see Hockey Night in Canada in Punjabi. Way better than in English.

I was hoping the Titans (Oilers) would bring it to the Ravens. I just hope they burn that clock with "Oh Henry" and hold on.
I hate the new false-start/neutral zone rules. A rugby ref would start handing out yellow cards for guys pointing like that.
Nobody gave them Titans a chance did they!? Oh... there's just know way they could possibly beat the league MVP. Hell, I'm surprised they even bothered to play the game.
Titan up and hold on!
That damn clock is moving so slow.
Well you got the upset part correct
The Titans crushed. The Seahawks are probably losing tomorrow so I'll be cheering on Tennessee to the superbowl. They crushed the Patriots and now the Ravens. True underdog team.
Archie Bell and the Drells are the real heroes! Tighten up now!
btw Vox, Paul Brown was the greatest. And he did it dressed with style.
Luv Ya Blue.
Titans at Chiefs in the AFC Championship, I'd watch it. Who the hell wants to see the Texans and Titans play again for the 3rd time in a month?
Titans... destroyers of dreams.
First they ended the greatest football dynasty in NFL history shattering the legacy of one Thomas Edward Patrick Brady,Jr. with a possible final career pass interception "pick-6". Then they lay down an earth-shaking upset of the mighty NFL MVP led 14-2 Superbowl bound favorite Baltimore Ravens.
Oh, the humanity... when and where will it end?

As a Steelers fan, I'm very happy today. Definitely on the Titans bandwagon now.
ESPN and the NFL have the bad sads tonight cuz the best quarterbackerizer evah (black edition) fell at the first hurdle. It must be Trump's fault.
I like the fact that Tannehill got a rushing TD, and Henry got a passing TD. It was almost like they were rubbing it Jackson's face.
