Anybody else want to see Bills vs. Vikings in the Super Bowl?

Yes. Being a Bills fans, my heart hasn't been in the NFL for a long, long time. But I've been enjoying watching Josh Allen this year.

Blogger Vlad Z. January 04, 2020 6:33 PM

I was rooting for the Texans, but clearly the Bills are there better team.

It's interesting how accurate the raking system is in the NFL. It's extremely rare for any team participating in this weekend's games to make it to the Superbowl.

Seed 1 and 2 are almost always decisively better than seed 3-6.

It's a mean old world!

Blogger Silent Draco January 04, 2020 6:45 PM

Oh yeah, you have to at least root for the Bills. They got their act back together. Go for it, what do you have to lose?

Blogger Dan in Georgia January 04, 2020 6:48 PM

The Falcons didn’t make the playoffs but they won their last few games to close out the season. Probably a better way to end the season than losing in a wild card game. They started 1-8 and finished 7-9. Hell of a second half. 2020 season will be great in Atlanta.

Blogger Shane Bradman January 04, 2020 6:49 PM

I'm on Seahawks and Saints, didn't watch many AFC games so not sure how that side will go. I think Saints will play the superbowl.

Blogger Shane Bradman January 04, 2020 6:50 PM

It will take a miracle to deny the Ravens their spot in the finals. Not so sure about NFC.

Blogger Manuel January 04, 2020 6:52 PM

What a momentum shift in the 4th. It was the Bills having their way on Offense until now. Texans still have to show up and finish though

Blogger Ryan January 04, 2020 7:21 PM

You are literally the only person I’ve heard in GA stating any of these opinions

Blogger Iron Spartan January 04, 2020 7:46 PM

Bills Texans has turned from a blow out to overtime. Been a fun game to watch

Blogger Lazarus January 04, 2020 7:47 PM

J.J.Watt is the most menacing coin flip observer I have ever witnessed.

Blogger The Depolrable Podunk Ken Ramsey January 04, 2020 7:49 PM

Holy Cow, Buffalo Bills!!!

BTW, they already should have won. When you catch the ball in the end zone and then casually toss it to the zebra (who you are not even looking at!), what ensues ought to be a catastrophe and it's all on you.

Pay attention. You want to down the ball? Down the ball.

The next thing you know, NFL refs will be handing out Participation Trophies.

"Saints"

treason!

Blogger Manuel January 04, 2020 8:14 PM

I had little faith in Watson but that escape and run, wow. Defenders will have to live with those missed tackles for 7 months now.

Blogger Nate January 04, 2020 8:22 PM

Bills fan... my condolences

Blogger Ronius_Maximus January 04, 2020 8:22 PM

They finished.

Blogger Daniel January 04, 2020 8:26 PM

Texans at Baltimore will be a bloodbath. They surely are hoping the Titans beat the Patriots. And they should do just that. That team's on fumes. It annoys me that a quarterback who couldn't name the six divisions or the teams in his own division as rookie is going to unseat the dynasty, but someone's got to do it.

Blogger VD January 04, 2020 8:31 PM

If the two Bills don't miss the block on the DB on the QB sweep in OT, the Bills are in Hauschka's range and kick an FG to win. Game of inches.

Blogger Emmett Fitz-Hume January 04, 2020 8:37 PM

It was a great game to watch, no doubt. And while Allen almost brought it back, felt like you could watch him cracking under pressure in real time.

Blogger Hamilton January 04, 2020 8:44 PM

I second that, Ryan. Falcons should have fired Quinn after his Super Bowl debacle. There’s no coming back from that.

Blogger BassmanCO January 04, 2020 9:14 PM

Admit it, Vox. You're trying to do a reverse-jinx on the Vikings. I haven't seen that since I last read the Sports Guy.

Blogger Nate January 04, 2020 9:41 PM

derrick henry is a different sub species.

Blogger Stilicho January 04, 2020 9:41 PM

Bills are the better team, but a few mistakes made the difference. Those 2 missed tackles on the QB on the play that set up the winning FG were painful to watch.

Blogger Retrenched January 04, 2020 9:46 PM

Henry over 100 yards before the half... wow.

Blogger Lazarus January 04, 2020 9:47 PM

Nate wrote:derrick henry is a different sub species.

That hair tail he's got? I bet it has bone in it.

Blogger Lazarus January 04, 2020 9:58 PM

The commenters said New England loses historically if the opposition gets 120 rushing yards. Titans have 106 at the half.

Blogger Lazarus January 04, 2020 10:28 PM

Stilicho wrote:Bills are the better team, but a few mistakes made the difference. Those 2 missed tackles on the QB on the play that set up the winning FG were painful to watch.

Watson instinctively pivoted in the correct direction. I bet he did not even know about the guy on his backside that got knocked over by his pirouette.

Blogger Lazarus January 04, 2020 11:23 PM

Father Time is undefeated.

Blogger tdcommenter January 04, 2020 11:25 PM

Pats had a good run over the years.

Blogger Retrenched January 04, 2020 11:26 PM

And so that's how the Patriots dynasty ends, with a Tennessee pick six. Titans defense played great today.

So now it's Titans vs Ravens and Texans vs Chiefs in the divisional round of the AFC playoffs.

Congratulations New England, you had one helluva run. But it's over.

Blogger Jon D. January 04, 2020 11:26 PM

God dammit.

Blogger Vlad the Impaler January 04, 2020 11:29 PM

Remember the Titans!

Blogger Weak January 04, 2020 11:42 PM

Happy Patriots Elimination Day!

Blogger KPKinSunnyPhiladelphia January 04, 2020 11:48 PM

If Derrick Henry is not the most valuable player in the NFL -- that honor may go to Lamar Jackson -- he is right now the most SIGNIFICANT player in the NFL.

He is, at the moment, the Jim Brown/Jim Taylor/John Riggins of this generation. He may not single handedly win you games, but he may be responsible for you winning the games you win, if that distinction makes a difference.

Blogger Lazarus January 04, 2020 11:51 PM

I just heard Owen Benjamin say the tour documentary was not ready yet.

This serendipitous information is 100% more than I ever got from my 5 emails to help@arkhavencomics.com.

Thanks Owen.

Blogger SemiSpook37 January 05, 2020 12:09 AM

Well, at least we don't have to worry about the Patriots anymore.

The Ravens, on the other hand...man, I feel so damned dirty rooting for the Oilers.

Blogger Talios Hammerfist January 05, 2020 12:24 AM

How about them Titans?? Proud of the win and hoping that we upset the NFL's best team next week!

Blogger Nate January 05, 2020 12:52 AM

tennessee needs to pay henry all the money. all of it.

Blogger Megamerc January 05, 2020 1:09 AM

Fortunate turn of events for KC. I'd bet the Chiefs would rather play Houston over the Titans right now. Derrick Henry is a monster

Blogger wEz January 05, 2020 1:16 AM

I'm not a believer in Jackson and the Ravens yet. I think it will be KC vs the Niners. The Packers are the worst 2 seed ever. The Saints are my second choice coming out of the NFC, but I don't like them on grass in San Fran. The Seahawks are the dark horse that will be in every game imo.
Honestly, everyone has a chance in the NFC minus the Vikes. In the AFC it's the Ravens or Chiefs pretty clear cut.

Blogger Retrenched January 05, 2020 1:51 AM

Also, for what it's worth, the Buffalo Bills record for consecutive Super Bowl appearances (4, '90-'93) is secure for a few more years at least. The Patriots had 3 in a row and could have tied them with another AFC championship this year.

Blogger furor kek tonicus ( no need to be racist, Ratchets can Karen better than anybody ) January 05, 2020 4:51 AM

i'm not sure anybody is concerned about matching the Bills record of losing 4 consecutive SuberbOwls.

Blogger Crush Limbraw January 05, 2020 10:21 AM

As a Bills follower since their inception in 1960, the only coach who was never outcoached was Lou Saban - 2 back to back AFL championships.
Lou maxed his players abilities with the job at hand.
DaBills this year developed a pattern late in the season - the OC put the game on Josh's shoulders - he ain't ready yet, if ever.
He's so focused on his play, he can't see the whole field - if he isn't moving, he's dead meat in the pocket - you win in the playoffs by running the ball and KEEPING it for TOP.
DaBills in their first Super Bowl had 19 minutes - their opposing DC was Hoodie!

Blogger RC January 05, 2020 10:28 AM

"Derrick Henry is a monster."

Yes. Rare is the occasion in the NFL when everyone knows what you're going to do, the defense has in the right personnel, all organized to stop what they know is coming, and the offense still just shoves the ball down the strength of the defense over and over and over again. It was magnificent.

I'm glad the Titans play the Ravens next week while the Chiefs get a tired group of Texans. Go Chiefs!

Blogger DBSFF January 05, 2020 10:28 AM

That blindside block call on the Bills in OT ... don't get it.

Blogger Iron Spartan January 05, 2020 10:45 AM

I think we saw the last ride of the GOAT.

Blogger Frankfurt Bear January 05, 2020 11:11 AM

Patriots out is the best news. Now the further playoffs will be fun. Finally something different in the Superbowl. It was boring the last few years as the Patriots were to dominant. Brady should retire now. It won't get better next season.

I hope for the Packers, but I doubt that their defense is good enough.

Blogger KPKinSunnyPhiladelphia January 05, 2020 11:24 AM

The one thing that struck me about this first day of the weekend was the terrific game management from head coaches on both the winners and losers, with the two notable examples being Sean McDermott and Mike Vrabel.

McDermott when he had his field goal team on the field with time running out and instructed them to kick the field goal if there was no first down, or have the holder spike the ball as QB if there was a first down so they could run a play.

Vrabel instructing his team, with a slim lead, to commit penalties during a punt in the last minute or so of the game so that the clock would run down since the Patriots had no timeouts.

Very shrewd quick thinking tactics by both coaches.

@13

Furor, in re:

"Saints"

treason!

Two words: WHO DAT!

No "Minnesota Miracle" this year. I am sure that it will be a good game, but NOLA is 5-1 in postseason play in the Dome, and the Boys are out for blood. No Valhalla for the Vikings this year. . . .

Blogger OS2Tech January 05, 2020 7:22 PM

And as the old saying goes, beware the words you say, keep them soft and sweet, you never know which ones of them that you will have to eat. A game that the Saints should have won, but never seemed to get it going, while the Vikings came ready to take advantage of their underdog status. Record for post-season goes to 5-2 in the Dome :(.

I have to say, after watching the Vikings-Saints game, I have to give some credit to Taysom Hill. Man has some amazing athleticism.

So back to the game going on now, great sack by Seattle, but what the eff are they thinking to get in that position in the first place.

Blogger Jack Amok January 06, 2020 11:55 AM

Agreed. Pay him all the money and let him decide how much to give his blockers.

Hello friends,
I'm a little ashamed to tell such a story. But I would like to share with you a great resource. I've had problems since my sexual organ was too small. I've been worried about this and tried to rectify the situation by means of pumps and tablets. Because of the tablets, which I ordered, I had complications and I was in the hospital for some time after that I gave up trying to increase my penis. But once I found Dr adam herbal cream. My first result was: plus 3 centimeters after 2weeks of usage. If you want to know more details and how you can enlarge your penis bigger, I recommend you to contact Dr adam today, email address adamokpoko@gmail.com or add him on whatsapp line +2348151731392.
