Complete Iowa Fail

The Democrats just made a very powerful case for reelecting the god-emperor:
The Iowa presidential caucuses were thrown into chaos late Monday after the state Democratic Party said it found "inconsistencies," delaying results and causing widespread confusion across the state.

The Iowa Democratic Party said early Tuesday that it would release the results of the Iowa caucuses later Tuesday after "manually verifying all precinct results."

Party chair Troy Price said the party is "validating every piece of data we have against our paper trail. That system is taking longer than expected, but it's in place to ensure we are eventually able to report results with full confidence."

The state Democratic party's communications director, Mandy McClure, said on Monday night that there were "inconsistencies" in the reporting of three sets of results. "In addition to the tech systems being used to tabulate results, we are also using photos of results and a paper trail to validate that all results match and ensure that we have confidence and accuracy in the numbers we report," McClure said.
Translation: Creepy Joe was destroyed by Bernie Sanders, so they need more time to produce fake ballots and destroy enough of the Sanders votes. And given today's Democrats can't run either an impeachment or a caucus, who could possibly imagine that they can run the federal government successfully?

The reason for the shenanigans appears to be that the system is designed to prevent the most popular vote-getter from actually winning the most delegates if the establishment disapproves of him. This suggests that the delay is to make the votes look more like the delegate totals. It would look very bad if Sanders ends up with the same number of delegates as the candidates who have less than half his votes.
Sen. Bernie Sanders's supporters angrily stormed out of a caucus here on Monday night, calling the process a "joke" and a "waste of time" after they started out with more than twice as much support as any other candidate, but ending up in a five-way tie, with all viable candidates sharing one delegate apiece.

Under the complicated caucus system, there are multiple stages of voting. First, there is a vote to determine initial support. After that point, only candidates with 15% of the vote are considered viable. However, those voters who did not initially choose a viable candidate can migrate to another candidate. After the final numbers are counted, they are translated to delegate equivalents, which help determine how many supporters each campaign gets to send to state, and ultimately, national conventions.

After the initial vote at the First Presbyterian Church, just Sanders, with 32 votes, and Pete Buttigieg, with 15 votes, met the viability threshold of 13.

But then, in the second vote, Biden's support started to grow to as high as 16. Because he had votes to spare, his representatives siphoned them off to Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar. As a result, all three just met the viability threshold.

After the shift, Sanders ended up with 37% support in the room, Buttigieg had 17%, and the three other campaigns each had just cleared 15%.

Since there were only five delegates to be awarded in this caucus location, and under rules no viable candidate can lose their single delegate if they only have one, each of the five campaigns ended up with one delegate apiece. This even though Sanders won by 20 points.
A partial result released by the Sanders campaign suggests that Sanders won about 30 percent of the vote, with Buttigieg and Warren finishing second and third. Goodbye, Creepy Joe!

I think I would be okay with The Storm being delayed so this can run to conclusion in November. To think...it not only can, but certainly will, get better than this.

Perhaps a new existence type...bodily fluid...and all four non-Sanders candidates can claim to share a common existence (body fluidity, but they call themself bodily fluid), and thus are capable of pooling their delegates and just declare themself the Democratic nominee by default without the mess of a convention. As a bone to Sanders, he will be made VP on the ticket. Problem solved.

The DNC hasn't had its "Trump Moment" that cleansed much of the RNC apparatus. DJT came in like an unstoppable wrecking ball, the RNC and CivNats couldn't stop him or the Trump Train. The DNC needs the same thing. The problem is, who is the D equivalent - I can't think of anyone as rabidly independent or wealthy as DJT.

Hopefully they never get it together and writhe around doing this kind of thing for a few election cycles.

From a pure simple statistical point of view. Sanders has more than a 50% chance of dying before the general election.

I know he's enjoying higher standard of living than most Americans (and ironically... better healthcare), but the guy had a heart attack recently on the other hand. Therefore his overall chance of dying this year are somewhat significant. The choice of Sanders is his running mate.

Blogger Uncompliant February 04, 2020 9:03 AM

Sundance has a theory -- this purported "disaster" does not show incompetence on the part of the DNC, but well-thought out planning to accomplish three goals: diminish Bernie, mask the "going poof" of Biden and mask the low voter turnout. Bernie won, but did not get to make a victory speech. Mission accomplished. Butt-whatever DID make a victory speech that got fake news play. Butt-whatever is a manufactured candidate and now has the BIG MO; NO MO for Bernie. Mission accomplished. Bernie will be announced as winner later today, but no one will care anymore. The "story" is "app-disaster-and-how-to-avoid-disaster-in-the-future." Mission accomplished. Further, truth is, voters in Iowa didn't really care and did not turn out. And now we won't notice cuz "OMG, app failure!!" Oh, and the app creator had some connection to Butt-whatever. Mission accomplished. Third, remember Biden's only purpose in running was to provide the foundation for the impeachment hoax. Now, he can "go poof." The fact that Biden's fake campaign is over will be ignored and no one will comment on the propaganda media propping up his poll numbers. Polls are fake just like the news. Biden can exit with no one noticing, cus, "OMG, app failure". Mission accomplished.

A successfully planned disaster takes skill. The DNC should not be underestimated.

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/02/04/mission-accomplished-chaos-in-iowa-caucuses-helps-and-hurts-all-the-right-candidates/#more-182684

Notice another new-to-America feature rolled out by the DNC -- non-Iowa "satellite" caucuses. There was an "Iowa" caucus in Scotland to much fanfare. "Oh, so inclusive and brave," said the sheep. "Baa-aa-aaa!!" But having foreign voters at various unknown and unnoticed locations is a well-explored method of making sure the "people" vote like they are supposed to. Europeans are familiar with this election fraud. It has arrived in the USA.

Good luck, Bernie Bros.

I like Sundance, but his take on Iowa is strained at best. All the stuff being "covered up" will leak anyway, and meanwhile the shear incompetence look from the DNC stands out. Cluster f**K for DEMs.

1) The low turn out will be noticed
2) Biden's fake early polls, and fake candidacy will be broadcast.
3) Pete's weird manipulations will add to DNC problems.

Blogger Oswald February 04, 2020 9:52 AM

Pete seems positioned well to capture the nomination or get the vice-president position. His capture of the nomination makes since to me, as the democrats love young fresh faces, regardless of experience, and he obviously is progressive enough for them. I hear people saying he won't get the black vote, but remember the democrats have been abusing the blacks of this country for a long time, and the blacks still vote for them, so whether he gets the black vote or not, it doesn't matter, because the democrats believe he will, because their candidates always gets their votes in the end. They will turn up their claims of racism on Trumps part and parade out their black leaders that always do their bidding to pump up the black vote. He will lose of course, but they will have pushed their agenda, which is all they really want to do.

Reality is starting to finally clear, to be more easily recognizable. Hence the phrase “it’s not your turn.” Biden was never a serious candidate, nor Warren, nor Bloomberg. The first and last were the only usable candidates, and not because of realness. It’s about the 2020 or the 2024 narrative. Biden is the candidate for throwing 2020, in preparation of a Cortez/Omar/Beto type to be railroaded into office in 2024. Or. Bloomberg is the candidate to be railroaded into office 2020 in order to have an incumbent to railroad into office in 2024 to keep a nationalist out in 2024. Sanders is their only organic-ish candidate. It has always been the narrative that dictated. The Foundation may be fanciful, but as with all their other preprogramming/planning, it is the methodology by which they operate. It is the blueprint for their style, and it is the function they implement their manipulated future through.

Blogger xevious2030 February 04, 2020 10:41 AM

Put it another way. Toto is pulling back the curtain, and the knobs and levers are being exposed. “Trust the plan.” The question was what to do if the US (Micro), Western Civilization (Macro), fell from power, such as with Pandemic, to provide functional continuity of system. Such as if the people needed to be replaced, do to pandemic or such wiping most of them out. Benign. Protocol for malicious. Rampant flood into the US, unchecked, changing demographics of replacement artificially. China, with numbers, (((escape route))), industry, colonization, was set to replace much of the West in hegemony. Then there is a bat, 3 markers, an outbreak of 4 markers. Bioweapons lab acquisition. Unwittingly, most susceptible is the nation ready to flood Africa to force an African flood on Europe/The West. Not a hypothetical, an early stage, in process, expansion and flooding (loans to Africans). War. Bernie supporters to gulag/shoot Americans, not a friendly competition. Trump is becoming to a position of controlling the borders, MAGA. Brexit. A matter of giving a comparative fool a rope, and seeing what he does with it. The Left used the rope to make a ring, and has become tangled in the ropes. The Dem Primaries, Impeachment, failure after failure. Finally, a possibility of better in the future. Trumpslide 2020.

The last TV show my wife and I watched was "The Good Wife" (or as we got in the habit of calling it; "The Bad Wife"). In the show, Donna Brazile basically played herself as Chair of the DNC. While watching the show, and more so in the last few years, I realized the writers/creators of the show were very much in the belly of the DNC beast. Or perhaps its more accurate to say, that the DNC is in the belly of the media/hollywood beast that creates shows like "The Bad Wife."

Anyway, the show is about Chicago politics and all of the shenanigans and outright illegal machinations that go on in the world of politics. The most dominate theme was how the Attorney General was used as a weapon against political rivals. This of course has been the most dominate theme in national politics since 2016. A lesser, but still often recurring theme was about voter fraud and ballot tampering.
;
As Owen Benjamin says, the Prometheans need to signal to us what they do in order to get our implied consent to their sins. I think this show really signaled what the DNC is all about (and I'm sure the RNC is just a junior partner in this depravity). Long story short, I have no reason to trust the DNC when it comes to voter counting. Hasn't the last 4 years demonstrated that there is no opportunity for deceit they will bypass in their quest to exert power and drag all of humanity to the bon-fire of Promethean rebellion?

On the upside, the show broke our ability to be mindlessly entertained by any TV show or movie. Watching the show did nothing but cause constant disappointment in the characters and imbued us with uneasy anxiety at the depravity of our current political world. We no long waste our time on any TV, and very rarely watch any movie. It's been great.

So there is the party that (a) believes algebra is raciss, and (b) believes in socialism. This next part I’m not sure if I understand correctly, but the smart folks on here can explain it. They created a system where every candidate that got at least 15% of the people in the gym got a delegate, even though it wasn’t atypical for the number of state delegates being allocated to that gym to be something like five. They failed to solve for x = maximum percent of the vote you could get and only win a single delegate?. That answer was 40% but we already established figuring out that number is raciss. If one candidate gets 40% of the vote in the gym, and four more candidates each get 15%, the (((guy))) with 267% more votes than anybody else gets the same number of state convention delegates the losers do? Because fair? Because no hurt feels?

Iowa doesn't. Iowa is +90% White and <4% Negro.

the Democrat Caucus was fvcked up by out of state sociopaths demanding that the results be fixed.

Even GEOTUS said in his most recent interview that Bernie was getting screwed.

Trump's been pointing that out since Hillary screwed Sanders in 2016.

i guess it's not plagiarism if you're ripping off yourself.

Turns out Pete's team was sucking up votes from other candidates

a fag, cheating the system? you don't say!

that lends extra credence to Hillary's supposed lesbianism.

especially since it's mostly her people that created the caucus voting app, and she's in bed with Buttgay.

the (((guy))) with 267% more votes than anybody else gets the same number of state convention delegates the losers do? Because fair?

comrade, we have reeducation camps which can remedy your False Bourgeoisie Consciousness.

And they have declared the faggot the winner, but Bernie gets the consolation prize:

Not even pretending it's anything but a dishonest sham.

The nomination process has always been designed to present a Democratic(/Republican) nominee and not necessarily hand the selection over to whichever interloper short-timeframe voters decided to select that year in primaries. There is a greater proportion of influence given to longtime party members (especially elected ones), which is more of a problem if you happen to be the party that ostensibly endorses universal suffrage and equal enfranchisement more. In theory, this helps keep the Democratic party from rapidly converting to a plain socialist party. In practice, populism helps mutate the parties slowly over time, but one could "always" start another party.

You'd think, via the news pundits, that never-Trumpers hold a good margin among Republican voters.

Especially in Iowa. Isn't that where Kristol was building his perfect candidate? If you can't get Iowa Republicans to virtue-signal with a meaningless vote against Trump, good luck getting them when it matters.

They have been stuck on 62% reporting since five hours ago. They are going to leave it there until the results are rendered meaningless for fundraising.

@27 Middle American Water Tower Man...Creepy Joe will GET the black vote in SC, regardless of how blacks actually vote, because just like Johnny Rocco said in "Key Largo", the right people will count the votes and count the votes and count the votes until the count comes up right. Super Tuesday belongs to PedoJoe because Pedo=trustworthy to the Deep State. Nonetheless, it's all over but the crying for non-Trump candidates. The GE will destroy anyone the Dems put up.

Trump won on Sunday. Then he won on Monday. He is going to win tonight, and on Wednesday.

What the hell is is going to do for the rest of the week?

He's going to WIN! the whole rest of the week.

Blogger Shield up sword swinging pipes blasting February 05, 2020 1:03 AM

They should just let Bernie win. Then Trump can be a real troll and... drop out. Bernie would absolutely ruin the US comically.

Sundance provides some data for his theory that the Iowa fraud-made-to-look-like-incompetence is accomplishing the DNC's goals of (1)Biden is being allowed to quietly go "poof," (2) Bernie being denied his momentum by the the fabricated candidacy that is Butt-whatever is/was given false momentum by being placed as the "winner" for a whole day on EVERY propaganda show, "news"-paper and media outlet while the "results" sat at the 62% reporting level which -- conveniently -- excluded vote counts where Bernie was strong ... etc. etc. But today Bernie's the winner, but he won't get his MO back, cuz Nancy tore up her copy of the SOTU speech and that is the talk of the day ... narrative creation and misdirection at its finest.

some wag on twitter suggested that what happened was that trump won on the write in vote.

that would have been funny if it had been true.

I ran the GOP caucus for my precinct Monday night and, of course, it ran smoothly and I was able to upload the results from mine and 3 other precincts using the Republican phone app without a hitch.

The Iowa Democrat's caucus rules result in a goat rodeo that inevitably ends up discriminating against supporters of "non-mainstream" (read anti-establishment) candidates. But they appeal to the herd mentality of most Democrats so it has never caused much controversy.
