Please clap

It's remarkable that despite the obvious success of the god-emperor's approach, the cucks of the world are still convinced that the winning approach is a firm handshake and an impeccably adjusted bowtie:
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush told a Presidents’ Day audience of investors and money managers that it’s time for a return to civility in the nation’s politics. And the man who was ousted early from the Republican primaries of 2016 gave a decidedly mixed review of the first term of President Donald Trump, who bruised him often on the campaign trail.

Bush spoke Monday to an audience of several hundred investors in Hollywood at a conference sponsored by the financial firm Noble Capital Markets of Boca Raton.
What a shameless whore....

I have a certain contempt for Jeb Bush. Not because he is worse then the rest of them, but because he is such an archetype, such a perfect example. Inherited money, civil demeanor, but no particular civility or decency in his actions. Virtue is a mutually shared social pretension. You are polite, I am polite, we are all polite. Don't rock the boat. That's all.

Donald Trump is perfectly capable of being civil in the pursuit of victory. He doesn't randomly decide to pants leftists for no reason. So far as I can tell, he's ready and willing to cut deals and has, on the rare occasions where he's not being attacked by the left. Criminal justice reform is a real world example of this.

The problem with Jeb Bush is that he doesn't recognize violations of civility on the left in any useful way and that he doesn't *enforce* civility by making the alternatives too painful for the left to continue. Jeb is pushing faux civility.

In Feb 1991, 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment spearheaded the invasion of Iraq in our sector. After a brief(!) firefight, our M1s and Bradleys had put paid to
the T72's the Iraqis had thoughtfully buried in defensive positions. Afterwards, it was just a matter of collecting surrenders.

(Sun Tzu, US Style-" Captured soldiers should be kindly treated and kept".)

Well, as we were milling about in our post-victory encampment in Northern Kuwait, enjoying the black rain from the burning oilfields, word came down that the Saudis, in gratitude for saving their halal bacon, were going to match our pay, dollar for dollar, from the first day in theatre, until we left. Ka-Ching!
Refund on the Raffle! Yay, boys, we're rich...

Until, of course, G.W. Bush heard about it.

"American soldiers are not mercenaries", he said, and cancelled the bonus pay. BILLIONS of dollars, that would have had a grand trickle down effect in the U.S. economy, were denied to thousands of military personnel and their families.

Because silver-spoon.And bow-tie.
Can't have the plebs getting rich, can we now.

I vowed, then and there, that I would vote for a raving communist-a fucking CLOWN- ANYTHING- before I'd ever vote for a Bush again.

Thankfully, Bill Clinton fit the bill nicely, and I was able to keep my vow.

A friend of mine was a submariner. One cruise, after spending 90 days at sea, 3 months underwater, with the available fod ont he boat reduced to macaroni and cheese, powdered eggs, coffee and spam, they were pulling in to port when a helicopter arrive with Vice President Bush. Seems the Veep needed a week of active service to maintain his Naval Reserve status. So they got to go back to sea, without resupply, without liberty, without so much as a howdy-do. Two days later another helo picked up the Vice President, but the boat remained at sea, and the captain was ordered to submit a false log showing the VP was still aboard for the entire mini-cruise. He left without even a "Thank you ma'am."

Never vote for a Bush.

I kind of don't believe this; consider for a moment the release of the JFK papers. They were supposed to have been released unredacted, and the 50 years has expired, yet the releases were still redacted. — The justification: that they mentioned people still alive. (George Bush is still alive and has intel-agency connections from prior to his presidency, and there are reports/pictures of him in conjunction with JFK-related events.)

The same happens right now with respect to pay. Take a look at all the entry-level/3+years-experience jobs posted, especially in tech: this is all companies wanting mid- and senior-level experience for entry-level pay. (Obviously motivated, in part, by the epic fraud-engine that is 'foreign workers'.)

This makes me disbelieve the whole "best economy ever" that Trump's been claiming, but even if it were true, what good is "the best economy ever" if the native people are being destroyed and replaced?

Blogger Barbarossa February 18, 2020 4:37 PM

@49 I'm sorry, but that story is rank nonsense. HW left the Navy in 1955 and did not maintain a status in the reserves. Additionally, since Bush was commissioned in 1943, he would have aged out at his 30 years in 1973, assuming he had made the rank of captain, which he didn't (the Navy states his highest rank as being lieutenant). Furthermore, that sort of ilk in DC who maintain reserve status for various political reasons never do anything as hazardous as boarding a helicopter to board a submarine at sea when you can just as easily get orders cut to hang out at the Pentagon or the Navy Yard. And Bush was an Airedale, not a bubblehead.

Plenty of things we can hang on the Bush gang, but that ain't one of them.

The one member of the Reagan administration who was visibly in the reserves was John Lehman, but he was also on the air side.

This has been going on for years.

There are a lot of Boomers who are unaware of it, though. Or who pretend to be unaware of it.

The worst I saw was a job listing for a librarian in a small city, of all things. The job was stamping books as returned, shelving them, and such like. The kind of job old widows or high school kids used to do.

The listing for this job said that all applicants must meet these interesting requirements:

"Ph.d in Library Science

"10 yrs. experience in library administration

"Special Master's concentration and minimum 5 yrs. experience in Speech Arts"

etc. for 2 pages

The pay? "$9/hr."

Seeing this and many such cases, what is my response to the raging Republican Boomer a-holes who say, "Younger Americans are lazy! Why don't they just get a summer job stamping books in a library or delivering newspapers, like I did in 1982! This generation has no grit. That's why we need the most legal immigrants in history to come in and rescue our social secur- I mean our economy. Such hard-working, virtuous immigrants are more deserving of being called Americans than young American citizens are!"

I'll tell you what my response is. It is cold hatred. If Bernie wins by a miracle and his followers shoot these extraordinarily depraved ignoramuses to ribbons with machine guns, I will feel nothing. They will have gotten precisely what they deserved.

It's so bewildering that anybody would think this common sort of job-posting would be indicative of a healthy economy… and even moreso given Trump's intelligence that he should trump the whole "greatest economy ever" claim.

Akulkis wrote:This is surely being used as grounds for bringing in H1-B's.

You could take it as a bit of a black-pill, but it's more than obvious that the massive H1B-fraud is government sanctioned. You can tell this by the fact that none of these companies (which include Google and other "Big Tech") are being taken down with RICO, which encompasses things like visa-fraud…

Indeed, we can see more and more just how willing government is willing to bend over backward to accommodate the "cheap-labor" addicted corporations with ever more hits from raising H1B caps to HR 1044.

Honestly: It looks more and more like a well-oiled machine, designed to disemploy, divest of savings, and eventually destroy the natural citizens of the United States.

By return to civility Jeb means, go back to Cuckservatism.

I can't think of a single Ivy League Republican who is NOT a Democrat who walked in the wrong door.

Jeb's Daddy is a prime example.

George H. W. Bush only became a Republican because he had moved to Texas as part of a payoff for Grandpa Prescott Bush's services to various parties in the Senate.

Today, Senator's sons get seats on Burisma. In the 1950s it was Texas oil.

Papa Bush was interested in the real family business, (politics) but in Texas he would have been waiting for years for his turn for a candidacy as a Democrat.

So Yale grad Papa Bush went GOP.

Prescott had been the GOP candidate for senate from Connecticut, and worked in the party as finance director. George Herbert Walker was a Rupublican before he got to Texas, and when he got to Texas it was solidly Democrat (see LBJ.) Prescott's father Samuel P. may have been a democrat, he was an associate of Bernard Baruch.
