Sanders wins New Hampshire

Bernie Sanders wins and all of Biden's support goes to Klobuchar.

25.9%  BERNIE SANDERS
24.4%  PETE BUTTIGIEG
19.8%  AMY KLOBUCHAR
09.3%  ELIZABETH WARREN
08.4%  JOE BIDEN

Conclusions: Biden is definitely out. He can't win. Warren is probably out. She needed to be in third, especially given that she is a U.S. Senator from Massachusetts. Buttigieg is the Deep State candidate and Klobuchar is the DNC candidate.

Bloomberg, meanwhile, just lost the entire black vote and a good portion of the white liberal vote. He was never a serious candidate anyhow, but even his money won't save him now. He's as done as Kamala Harris was when Tulsi Gabbard called her out for prosecuting black criminals. So, the question appears to be, will the Democratic establishment go down in flames with Bernie or will they divide the party by pushing Klobuchar as the candidate.

Of course, no matter what they do, it just spells TRUMPSLIDE 2020.

UPDATE: Andrew Yang has ended his bid for the presidency.

oh, come on. *waves hand airily* Joe has already left for SC and his Corn Pop voters.

i know i was the one who introduced the Klobuchar Big In Iowa Because She's Minnesota Nice idea, but i wasn't expecting every other establishment candidate to crash and burn this fast.

as you say, Warren is local to NH. if she can't break into the top 3 there, and worse, is polling < 1/2 of out of stater Klobuchar, Lieawatha is also done for.

age wise, Klobuchar - 59 is the only reasonable one on offer. Dog Strangler at < 40 will likely be seen as too young, not to mention his complete lack of experience wrt everything that's not a staff or pole. Liewatha at 70 isn't completely blown out like Hillary but that's still too old. Creepy and Bernie are both WAY over the hill.

Yang has suspended and Tulsi ( NH being the first state she campaigned in ) should.

Bloomberg is 77 and anti-Constitution and a billionaire ... but the worst thing about him is that he's only 4 Rogans tall.

I am inclined not to count Biden entirely out until South Carolina. African Americans are not overfond of Jews and Gays may as well have leprosy.

Does Amy Klobuchar have any African American support?

Not that it matters. Biden is hopeless. I figure the shades are to hide the haunted look of a man who expects to be arrested any day.

Blogger Hammerli 280 February 11, 2020 8:44 PM

I'll be honest, the only one that had me worried was Bloomberg. That twerp bought the Virginia legislature...to go along with the Maryland legislature he already owns. If he goes down hard on Super Tuesday, I'm confident.

The way I look at this, Sanders has probably ended Warren's candidacy. He's got control of the Rabid Left lane. But that's about 40%. The Ordinary Left lane is now occupied by Buthesgay and Miss Minnesota Mean (ask her staff). And Bloomberg with his money. They'll all be taking fire from Sanders from here on out.

This will be delicious...but we need to be wary. The goal is not merely to get Trump reelected, but to obliterate the Left.

Blogger evanjs February 11, 2020 8:45 PM

Bloomberg wasn't on the ballot in New Hampshire, I don't think. He will be on the ballot in future states.

If you thought remoaners were insufferable whiny bitches when they lost, you aint seen nothin' yet! And of course, the debates between the GE and the frazzled old communist are going to be epic.

Also looking forward to Trump tweeting about Bernie wanting to give the vote to felons still in prison, women's rape fantasies, and his praise for Venezuela.

Fauxcahontas (and Biden) have imploded, so I suspect a lot of their voters have migrated to Klobuchar. After all, she comes across as Warren without the angry baggage... at least so far. She was also the only one with significant support out of Iowa.

The failed app that caused the problem was developed by a company called Shadow Inc., which was staffed by former Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama supporters and funded by billionaire Seth Klarman, who also is a major contributor to Pete Buttigieg’s campaign and also has been linked to former and current senior members of the intelligence community.

Klobuchar is the only "mainstream" Democrat option left who appears to be viable.

as Vox said, she's going to soak up a bunch of Creepy's support and she's probably going to get a decent amount of Lieawatha's as well.

so this will probably break out as between the standard bearer for the Left Dems ( Klobuchar ) vs the standard bearer for the Hard Left Socialists ( Bernie ).

at least until Hillary and Big Mike try to broker the convention.

I think the Ukraine thing is hurting Biden. People, even a certain percentage of Democrats, do not like corruption.

The Dems in Iowa and in New Hampshire are more likely to disapprove of corruption than Dems in Chicago.

When the impeachment bull---- began, I wondered, the Dems are going to throw Biden under the bus?

The Dems are that stupid, they did not think that impeachment might have a bad consequence for Biden.

This is also another example of 4D chess from the god-emperor. The god-emperor's interactions with the Ukraine government was "throwing a brick to attract a jade." The jade was to make Biden's corruption more publicly known.

Blogger Ledford Ledford February 11, 2020 10:09 PM

I think Sanders may be a tougher challenge for Trump than anyone else in the Democratic field. He's the only credible anti-establishment Democrat. Voters are hard to read these days and dividing them in "lanes" is mistaken, in my view. There are plenty of people who have Trump and Sanders as their top two choices for President.

A party could sweep the board combining Trump's borders and tariffs with Sanders' free college and Medicare for all. Not saying that's the ideal policy set, just saying it's a winner. Something like the Salvini/Di Maio coalition in Italy.

If she doesn't, that's four networks for Anyone But Bernie; Buttgieg is certainly close enough to pull ahead with media support like Warren got, and might well offer Hillary Secretary of State again. If Bernie offers her high office so she can extort bribes again she's liable to get on board with him.

There's no way Kloubechar could be getting votes legitimately. Her Iowa turnout was believable since it was lower and she was near her home state of Minnesota. Maybe giving Sanders votes to Kloubechar helps Buttigieg secure a plurality of voters without drawing too much suspicion.

Bernie isn't the fringe. His economic policy and foreign policy are more popular with the base than the neoliberal and more openly SJW policies of the DNC Establishment. "Socialism" (IE: Having a welfare state for the entire middle class rather than just Boomers and foreigners) is popular with the Democratic base. At least more popular than the Globohomo policies of the Establishment Dems.
