I’m going to preemptively complain about the Falcons trading for Gurley instead of just drafting Swift. Projects just as well in the passing game as Gurley but without the busted knees.

Just hoping my Dolphins get Tua

Draft linemen who have a habit of coughing

Blogger Jeffrey Johnson April 23, 2020 2:33 PM

Lord we give thee thanks that at least for one weekend there's football on TV.

Blogger Unknown April 23, 2020 3:03 PM

I'm interested to see if the Patriots end up making a move up for a QB. The Browns need a LT badly to protect Baker.

Blogger John Cunningham April 23, 2020 3:19 PM

As a long-suffering Bengals fan, they had better get Joe Burrow. There has been mumbling about trading the pick, and that would be the last straw. Mike Brown would be hanging from the Suspension Bridge within a couple of hours.

Blogger Dave in Ahia April 23, 2020 3:22 PM

I predict the highest rated show in the history of television.

Your boy -- excuse, me, sorry -- your GUY Tua is not going to join our esteemed blog proprietor in Mensa anytime soon.

13 on the Wonderlic. Ouch.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2887156-tua-tagovailoa-rumors-some-teams-concerned-about-qbs-13-wonderlic-score

"We interviewed him. He's smart enough, but he's an RPO guy," an NFL scout told McGinn, referring to a run-pass option. "[Alabama offensive coordinator Steve] Sarkisian tried to do pro stuff, and [Tagovailoa] couldn't handle it mentally because all he'd ever done was RPO stuff. So they went back to RPO."

Bad hip. Bad brain. Not a good combo.

Blogger Oswald April 23, 2020 3:59 PM

I hope the Chiefs get a linebacker or a receiver.

If the dolphins take ANOTHER first round OL instead of Tua they should be relegated to the arena league.

Blogger Unknown April 23, 2020 4:17 PM

Any broncos fans have a preference on WR's they should target in the first round?

Blogger Gettimothy April 23, 2020 4:19 PM

Da Bucs got some dude named Gronkowski before the draft even started.

Blogger Dont Worry About Me April 23, 2020 4:53 PM

That's pretty damning right there. Not like he's Lamar Jackson with his feet

Blogger traderdoc April 23, 2020 5:39 PM

Broncos? Jeudy is my choice.

I can't wait to see what kind of mess Bill O'Brien makes for the Texans

@Mathias,
If you don't care, don't comment. Literally not one person on the face of the Earth, nor under the Earth, nor flying high above the Earth, cares whether or not you care about football.

> Da Bucs got some dude named Gronkowski before the draft even started.

And if you don't see Brady's hand in that, you need new glasses.

Blogger SemiSpook37 April 23, 2020 7:41 PM

It'll be interesting to see what the Dolphins turn their pick from the Steelers into.

Personally, I just want to see some sort of massive network outage screw the whole thing up, because I'm a sadist.

Blogger Fe2O3 April 23, 2020 8:31 PM

Also a long suffering Bengal fan. Death, taxes, and Mike Brown will screw it up.

Blogger Quilp April 23, 2020 8:35 PM

Congrats Bengals fans. You deserve a top flight QB.

Blogger Dave W. April 23, 2020 9:07 PM

O'Brien doesn't have anything to do tonight unless he can pull off a trade. Dolphins own his pick. :-D

Blogger Dantheman April 23, 2020 9:10 PM

Lamar Jackson hype is gonna hit Tua down in Florida next!

Blogger Johnny Reb April 23, 2020 9:42 PM

Now the Patriots might as well trade their whole team to the Bucs.

Blogger Unknown April 23, 2020 9:44 PM

Calling it now: Tampa will be in the Superbowl. Change my mind.

Blogger JohnofAustria April 23, 2020 9:51 PM

maybe if you got more sleep?

it occurs to me that race attendance has been so low that if NAPCAR were to open all of their grandstands up again, fans could practice 'Social Distancing' while attending races.

Blogger jmzf April 23, 2020 10:12 PM

Enjoyed Cincy sportswriter’s theme today, ‘Bengals mgmt should stop talking about being competitive and start aiming to be great’
Briefly. I enjoyed it briefly.

Blogger Unknown April 23, 2020 10:20 PM

How about them Broncos?!?! Got their guy!

Blogger Archella April 23, 2020 11:49 PM

Hoping the Niners can draft a new head coach...

Blogger Nihil Dicit April 24, 2020 5:46 AM

When did I start caring about any draft, much less the NFL draft? Is this what sports DTs feel like?

Blogger Mr.MantraMan April 24, 2020 7:02 AM

The draft is a fine example of cucked caste clownery. From what I hear Minnesota's GM takes it to another level on a personal note and the GB's GM throws away any semblance of sanity by taking a scattershot QB.

Bold prediction, 31 NFL teams will institute a RPO offense, KC will show at least minimal competence at drafting OL and Mahomes will win them 15 straight SBs. And I don't like KC.

Blogger Johnny Reb April 24, 2020 7:48 AM

The Bucs are going to have to address their issues on defense for that to happen.

Blogger Gettimothy April 24, 2020 8:00 AM

Da bucs got da Wirf.
Da wirf is what dey call da wind when six five 325 runs by at 4 point 85 forty speed.

Blogger Gettimothy April 24, 2020 8:05 AM

And, you heard it heRe first.

Wurf , not early in the season, but likely late in the season will declare tackle eligible, recievers deep, gronkowski as the draw, pulling all the linebackers leaving da wirf in the open field against with only a scrawny cornerback between him and the endzone.

They will need a zamboni to scrape up the mess.

Blogger wgmeisheid April 24, 2020 10:28 AM

The draft fell our way and we got our man...Ravens - Patrick Queen, ILB from LSU. Thank you Seattle for taking Brooks and leaving Patrick for us. We each got a player that fit our defenses. May we both be happy with our picks after the season is over.

Blogger Linus April 24, 2020 10:57 AM

Did the Packers watch any Jordan Love film? Besides his other obvious flaws, he is really not good in cold weather and last time I checked, Lambeau is in Wisconsin. I don't get that pick at all.

Blogger Jack Amok April 24, 2020 11:48 AM

It looks like the Seahawk's plan for their defensive line it to put a few blocking sleds out there and hope the LBs can chase anyone down before they get too far.

Blogger Dont Worry About Me April 24, 2020 11:15 PM

BOB appears to be a Gamma that slithered his way into power by riding Belichick's legacy

Blogger Gettimothy April 26, 2020 9:23 AM

only thing missing from this flurry of Bucs acquisitions is Tim Tebow
