A new addition to the collection

A Castalia Library subscriber sends a picture of the heir to the Franklin throne. I'm rather digging that Easton Press Lovecraft edition, by the way.

I received mine as well today. And it is simply stunning; beautiful inside and out. A treasure for sure.

Got mine today in the mail. A stunning piece of art. The spine is incredible!

Looks great guys. I am still working towards getting the shelves worthy of leather bound, acid free paper masterpieces.
Enjoy :-)

I eagerly await mine! Looks great!

Just for laughs, can we get a concept art sample of what Castalia's "Tolstoy for Children" would look like? Thanks!

Got mine today, beautiful, well done.

Mine arrived yesterday, I couldn't be more pleased with it. Well worth the cost and rivals anything else on my bookshelves.

I received my copy yesterday. The cover artwork is better than 90% of the Easton Press / Franklin Library books I've seen. The quality of the printing and composition are top tier. The use of a pressed in Castalia House logo on the back cover is a better design than the usual reprint of the front cover seen on so many other leather bound books. The cowhide is as good as any I've seen on a leather bound book. The use of a 1880's nautical chart is well done, though I would have preferred a matte finish.

Castalia has reached Franklin Library quality on the first go.

That's good to hear. Thanks for the substantive review, JG.

Just got my book and am super excited to start reading it. Was a bit nervous because of the need for me to change addresses. Thank you for making the process smooth as possible.

Must be nice

if we submitted funding for the electronic version of the Junior Classics... how do we go about accessing those or is there an ETA on access? send me to RTFM if I missed details for redeeming that offering.

Blogger VD May 20, 2020 10:15 AM

The Junior Classics will not be done for another 6-8 weeks.

Blogger Darren May 20, 2020 10:54 AM

That is actually quite encouraging!
Considering ... everything.

Seeing as the Americans are getting their copies now, I should expect mine to reach Australia within the next two weeks. 6-8 weeks for the Junior Classics is very quick.
