The Devil Mouse in plain sight

If, at this point, you're surprised that Disney is actively pushing occult wickedness on children, you are either more in denial than the grandmother of a kid who insists on calling himself "they" or you have been paying less attention than a sperg at a family gathering with a Nintendo Switch.
A new Disney animated television series released by  Disney Television Animation on Friday has many parents concerned that the House that Mickey Mouse Built has transitioned into giving children a bizarre pro-demon and witchcraft message.

The Owl House, created by  Dana Terrace, is described in the words of Disney: “The series follows self-assured teenage girl Luz, who discovers a portal to another realm where humans are not well-liked, and she must disguise herself in order to fit in at witch school.”

Luz, the main character is a 14-year-old Dominican-American teenager. Her mentor, Eda the Owl Lady, is the most powerful witch on the isles and a wanted criminal for selling magical items to humans. King is a demon warrior and Eda’s roommate

The evil nemesis in the story is a character named Warden Wrath who wears a plague doctor mask. Wrath keeps his enemies in a prison called the Conformatorium for the crime of being different from everyone else. The setting for the demon realm is on the Boiling Isles which is the decaying corpse of a titan.
It is a bit amusing that they're still pushing that twisted old chestnut of "be different, like everyone else" though.

It's hilarious how even in a fictional world where all humans are hunted they still have to wedge in the hyphenated american status as if it means anything.

"Wrath keeps his enemies in a prison called the Conformatorium for the crime of being different from everyone else."

This is interesting. I'd speculate someone anti-woke is on the writing committee slipping this in, but anyone of that persuasion would have packaged up a massive veritas dump by now, so I'll chalk it up to lacking self-awareness.

Clearly, given the last post, when it comes to Disney, "transitioned" is fractal.

"An article about the production in LA Times noted that Terrace took inspiration from Hieronymus Bosch and other artists she encountered while learning in Catholic school. "

The author became corrupted by the converged Catholic school, or he was already wicked. Either way the school didn't filter for exclusion nor educate the student. That school needs to be burned to the ground

"Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) published an article criticizing the Disney series for trying “to portray witchcraft as a positive tool to fight evil.”"

CBN also does not know what is evil.

"The evil nemesis in the story is a character named Warden Wrath who wears a plague doctor mask. Wrath keeps his enemies in a prison called the Conformatorium for the crime of being different from everyone else."

I'm rooting for the warden. I hope he upgrades the Conformatorium to a Crematorium.

For a character being named Light (Luz) it sure brings darkness to the children.

I'll chalk it up to lacking self-awareness.

That's what it is. They really believe they're the oppressed counter-culture, fighting for individuality against conformity. They believe all corporations are right-wing, even when 99% of them celebrate homo and tranny days with rainbow logos. It's always 1969 and they're fighting uphill against The Man, no matter how much they actually run things. Delusion is a powerful thing.

"be different, like everyone else"

Sounds like an apt description of the 1960's.

And before someone of 'some generation' or other says anything. Yes, each generation conforms.

But, I find, that if your generation conforms more to tradition and normality you will find freedom. On the other hand, if your generation conforms to rebellion and perversion you are enslaved.

This is also suspiciously similar to a popular anime from last year called Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun!

It is a bit amusing that they're still pushing that twisted old chestnut of "be different, like everyone else" though.

What else could we expect from people who claim "everyone is really exactly the same underneath!" whilst at the same time declaring the vital importance of injecting hyphen people into everything because "diversity is strength!"? They've actually co-opted Frank Burns' famous line, "Individuality is fine, as long as we all do it together".

Blogger xevious2030 May 24, 2020 9:17 AM

Asserting individuality with others. Something borrowed, but certainly not new, detachable people.

The first episode is up on YouTube. There's much to unpack. The one thing that stuck out to me immediately, is that Luz acts like a boy. It's also blatantly propaganda for free speech and expression.

Blogger Azure Amaranthine May 24, 2020 9:41 AM

The twisted old chestnut isn't as simple as it appears. It's a luciferian divide-and-conquer invocation. Difference > divergence > rebellion.

However, this takes the brainwashing a step further. By setting up conformation as bad, they're training kids to attack and attempt to ostracize anyone who would even try to compose a united, stable entity by setting formative standards. They're also gearing up to paint the same as "angry, hateful individuals" and probably terrorists, hence the warden "Wrath".

"Instead of reading "Her mentor", I read "Her molester". I either need new glasses or I should get off the internet for a month."

Witch, of which lesbians and abortionistas are currently the most prominent and evil varieties we see, so molester is probably accurate.

"I'm rooting for the warden. I hope he upgrades the Conformatorium to a Crematorium."

Electroshock convertorium.

Satanic concepts always invert reality. In an actual organic community inherently distinct individuals accept a practical degree of social conformity.

In their fake vision, people are inherently interchangeable and community is where you individuate by aberrant social non-conformity.

A path of individual and culture self-erasure.

Did this “Satanism” stuff become popular mainly due to Gen X rebellion? It seems it’s becoming more frequent with certain Gen X types finally rising up in the media world. They’re incorporating stuff from the 1980s (witchcraft, satanic symbolism) into mainstream media.

I wasn’t even born when the whole “certain albums played backwards became satanic rituals” era of the 1980s. I understand satanism may have appeared preferable with Baby Boomers destroying mainline churches from the inside and out. Practically no church couldn’t reign in Boomer excess and rampant divorce. They were too large a demographic force to even openly criticize. But that frustration was likely taken out on many a Gen Xer. So they delved into satanism due to church hypocrisy and mishandling of the Boomers.

Does the statement above just B.S. or has some worthwhile insight?

(Two music videos that best capture the rebellion appeal, heads up some of it holds strong language and such.)

OT

I did church this morning at Home Depot in the Plumbing Department. Preached first on not praying to the porcelain god. Ended standing under a display of fancy shower heads exhorting the audience to “stand under the spout where the glory comes out” by asking God to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Afterwards a man approached and introduced himself. He was one of the troubled boys we’d ministered to years ago. He said he’d gone to prison for a year, returned, now has two kids and his own company “to be a better man and a father.” Told him he made my day. I remember agonizing over him in prayer.

Finally, met another man named Joe who had divorced, then had only 50 cents to his name. He told me how he was walking one day when invisible hands held him and “turned me like an adult would turn you to go home to your mother” and sent him into that church.

We had church. Thank you Jesus.

no, you're forgetting the 1st principle of the Left: Who, Whom.

no Christian, heterosexual, Bourgeoisie or White person will ever be consider "non-conformist", no matter how much of a minority or how persecuted we might be.

only Satanist homosexual witches are non-conforming.

"Be different, like everyone else"

That is a powerful message for purposes of manipulation. Because you don't need to tell them the second part, or make too much a thing of it anyway. Kids will choose to "be different" in predictable patterns. I mean, most won't take the admonition to lift weights and study obscure philosophy.

Instead, they'll give into passion. And unless their passions happen to lead them into discipline and the watchful eyes of responsible adults, kids who let their passions lead them are more easily controlled.

According to the Bible, Eve was the first to heed Satan's advice to eat the forbidden fruit and thus responsible for all of humanity's subsequent miseries. The notion of woman as the Devil's accomplice is prominent throughout Christian history and has been used to legitimize the subordination of wives and daughters.

In the nineteenth century, rebellious females performed counter-readings of this misogynist tradition. Lucifer was reconceptualized as a feminist liberator of womankind, and Eve became a heroine. In these reimaginings, Satan is an ally in the struggle against a tyrannical patriarchy supported by God the Father and his male priests.

Per Faxneld shows how this Satanic feminism was expressed in a wide variety of nineteenth-century literary texts, autobiographies, pamphlets, newspaper articles, paintings, sculptures, and even artifacts of consumer culture like jewelry.

He details how colorful figures like the suffragette Elizabeth Cady Stanton, gender-bending Theosophist H. P. Blavatsky, author Aino Kallas, actress Sarah Bernhardt, anti-clerical witch enthusiast Matilda Joslyn Gage, decadent marchioness Luisa Casati, and the Luciferian lesbian poetess Renee Vivien embraced these reimaginings.

By exploring the connections between esotericism, literature, art and the political realm, Satanic Feminism sheds new light on neglected aspects of the intellectual history of feminism, Satanism, and revisionary mythmaking.
