Why Logos matters

Professor Rachel Fulton Brown interviews E. Michael Jones on Unauthorized.

Professor Rachel Fulton Brown sits down with Dr. E. Michael Jones to ask some hard questions about his new book Logos Rising: A History of Ultimate Reality (Fidelity Press, 2020). What is Logos, why is it necessary, how do we discover it, and why is it anathema to the current cultural debate? What is our best evidence that Logos is rising, and where does the Virgin Mary fit in the story?

In other Unauthorized news, we're now caught up on Wranglerstar, with 40 more of his videos now available on the site. Don't miss those about his experiences fighting the Antifa fires. And Barcelona Life is back, with yet another Cocina Quarantina special you're going to want to try!

Unauthorized now features 1,348 videos that comprise 1,426 hours of viewing time. This includes the two latest from WRANGLERSTAR as he battles the Oregon wildfires: “How We Survived the Oregon Wildland Fires” and “How To Protect Yourself From Wildfire Smoke” as well as The Legend Chuck Dixon contemplating the four options presently facing Marvel boss Kevin Feige.

It would take you two straight months just to watch all! One subscriber says: Every one of those videos is worth watching. Not one of those videos promotes the evil, the ugly, or the false. So, if you haven't subscribed yet, what are you waiting for?

Unauthorized has the best talk shows!

Hope to see Curtis Stone on unauthorized soon. He said on one of his videos last month that he was looking into it.

curtis has his own video platform, but I could see him putting his non-farm stuff on unauthorized, i guess.

Blogger tuberman September 12, 2020 7:22 PM

Will watch.

Can someone tell me the difference between the basic and premium subscriptions? I told myself I wasn't going to sign up for any more podcasts because I don't get through all the ones I get now, but I've gotta hear this one.

It's just your level of support for the channel. It doesn't make any difference to your ability to watch videos. You get a better account on SG, Silver instead of Bronze, as well.

I have watched several interviews of Dr. Jones talking about Logos and he's always repeating the same talking points. In this interview, however, he engages in substantive discussion with a real scholar and friendly critic who shares his conviction in Christ. The result is a wonderful discussion that is worth your time (if you like watching videos...)

Excellent discussion. I am not sure "interview" does it justice.

EMJ is NOT race realist. He's a Roman Catholic militant (that's fine), but he is utterly clueless about race.

That was a fascinating interview/discussion. I have Dr. Jones Logos Rising book, but I have not had the time to devote to reading it as of yet (it's not light reading either - ha). Thanks so much to Dr. Rachel Fulton Brown! Her Tolkien class is just simply marvelous!

Really enjoyed that interview, i don't know if they had met before but there was a great connection between the two of them. I hope they do it again. Vox the content your putting out is fantastic.

In The Slaughter of Cities EMJ addressed race as it pertained to breaking Catholic strongholds in cities with former slave blacks transplanted from the South. Maybe the context is different.

When they stay away from orthodox/catholic and catholic/protestant diputess they have made importantant things to say

E.M.Jones is an important voice--he is to Jews what the race realists are to the negro and other races, the voice crying in the wilderness that we must lose the taboo and speak plainly about the reality of Christian/Jewish differences in the former and racial differences in the latter*.

Jone's rooting the difference in the Spirit is true , a needed reframe and God breathed genius; it roots our argument in Christ and makes our position non negotiable; Jews who accept Logos are our brothers and sisters in Christ, those who will not, serve the liar and murderer; and that spirit produces the fetid fruits we see subverting and subjugating Christendom .

To who do you bow? The Word or the lie? Logos or the demi-urge of the Judaists?

This mornings reading from The Catechism of the Council of Trent has a paragraph on the qualifications and duties of Godmothers and Godfathers.

Who May Not Be Sponsors

It is easy, therefore, to decide who are inadmissible to this holy guardianship, that is, those who are unwilling to discharge its duties with fidelity, or who cannot do so with care and accuracy. Wherefore, besides the natural parents, who, to mark the great difference that exists between this spiritual and the carnal bringing up of youth, are not permitted to undertake this charge, heretics, Jews and infidels are on no account to be admitted to this office, since their thoughts and efforts are continually employed in darkening by falsehood the true faith and in subverting all Christian piety. 108

Ergo, speaking forthrightly on the animosity between Christian and Jew, rooted in the Jew's rejection of Logos is empirically a part of our Christian heritage. It is past time we reclaim our own.

*regarding race and Dr. Jones, I do not think he dwells on it because of his overt Christian love for mankind, his videos include sone expressing his tender mercies to the fallen; he is a devout, kind, fearless Christian

However, there is a Christian case for race realism rooted in scripture , right reason , the Christian desire for human flourishing, wellbeing and happiness. Start with Babel and God's motive and the rest flows from there to include/compliment the work of the hbd folks and agnostics like Derbyshire. Its a too big subject for the comment section .

Vox, if you are interested in publishing a book on the arguments, I can provide a skeletal outline by the end of the month

@13 Jones places the neighborhood busting at the feet if the jews...Chapter 22 in The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit (which I have onLy glanced at).

Imagine, from that subversuon to California legalizing pedophilia inside one century.

He's a Boomer. Are you shocked in a similar fashion when a Millennial reveals he has a Facebook account?

Blogger Gettimothy September 13, 2020 9:18 AM

@17 that is funny.

Re Marvel, I noticed that the Marvel pack for Fortnite features She-Hulk instead of Hulk. Never paid attention to her, but I see here at least she appears to fully have her wits when in green mode... Because the grrl power version has to be better than the icky dumb boys.

Blogger Unknown September 13, 2020 11:32 AM

I watch all his vids never heard him say such a thing. Why would he? His standalone site charges$20 a month and the interface is head and shoulders above UATV. I wish I could get them both in one package but yeah not gonna happen

Blogger Matthew Baker September 13, 2020 12:11 PM

Hey Vox I’m really interested in politics. Any chance of a news channel or a political commentator coming to Unauthorized?

Blogger Cheryl Butler-Drake September 13, 2020 3:24 PM

Professor Brown and EMJ has great chemistry. It was a joy to watch such high calibre thinkers and believers in the same room--the back and forth was dynamic! As an interviewer, I thought that the Professor kept a wonderful balance between giving Dr. Jones room to speak, keeping track with him and summarizing his points nicely. She kept the topic moving ahead at an engaging pace. And her contributions to the conversation as said previously were in and of themselves, noteworthy. I especially appreciate the fact that she came at the issues from a different angle. Congrats to both on a rocking interview!
