The thought police hit pro cycling

This is why it's time to bring back the blasphemy laws. Free speech was always a false flag flown by the Jesus-hating Children of the Lie:

Team Trek-Segafredo has suspended 19-year-old Quinn Simmons for what it’s calling “divisive” comments. There were apparently two tweets that sent Team Trek-Segafredo over the edge, including a tweet where Simmons wrote “bye” and included a dark-skinned waving emoji on a tweet from Dutch journalist Jose Been that read “If you follow me and support Trump, you can go.”

In another tweet, Quinn responded, “that’s right [American flag icon]” to a guy who determined Quinn to be a “Trumper.”

And it is officially ON in the world of cycling. People are picking their sides and the woke cycling community is full of rage towards Quinn, who won the 2019 world junior road race championships.

“Trek-Segafredo is an organization that values inclusivity and supports a more diverse and equitable sport for all athletes,” the team said in a statement. “While we support the right to free speech, we will hold people accountable for their words and actions.

“Regrettably, team rider Quinn Simmons made statements online that we feel are divisive, incendiary, and detrimental to the team, professional cycling, its fans, and the positive future we hope to help create for the sport.

“In response, he will not be racing for Trek-Segafredo until further notice.

If someone supports Biden or BLM or the ADL or any other Promethean project, eject them without hesitation. Don't think twice, just do it. They have made it perfectly clear that there is no place in their society for us, which means there is no place in our society for them.

Think about it: all this young man did was support the current President of the United States of America. If that is beyond the pale, what isn't?

Facing this adversity will certainly form him into a great man and presumably a great biker. Sad though it is.

Those tweets were nothing, nothing. The left’s use of fear while powerful is waning even the soviets learned that fear only goes so far.

Being a amateur cyclist myself, most of the cycling community I interact with are some of the most intolerable people when it comes to politics.

Over the last few years both Strava and Zwift started to signal to promethean causes more and more. I'm convinced, eventually they are going to drive off the white liberals that make up the majority of both platforms.

I hope Quinn can sue his team and bleed them real good.

Everybody who has to stay silent is never going to forget why and they are going to simply get more and more angry.
The Soviet regime, in the end, had everybody talking the talk but privately between long trusted friends and family it was a joke.
Aside from waiting for the "muh free speech" boomers to die out, what else can be done?

This is the chaser. The shot was when Lance Armstrong's Austin bike shop said they wouldn't fix police bikes anymore, but felt confident that police would protect them anyway.

I have been a mountain biker for 25 years, roadies have always had an air of arrogance about themselves, head to toe in lycra, I wouldn't even walk about the house like that. As were seeing all sports have been hijacked by the Promethians, bend the knee or else.

Blogger Damelon Brinn October 01, 2020 2:24 PM

They're starting to get desperate, aren't they?

The ones who understand what's going on are getting desperate. They realize the window of opportunity to push this insanity won't stay open forever, so they're trying to jam as much through as possible.

But for many of them, it's more like they're feeling their oats. They don't understand that the pendulum will swing back. They see their comrades in other industries deplatforming and unpersoning badthinkers, and they want to get in on the fun.

Blogger American Spartan October 01, 2020 2:50 PM

And yet they will find a way to push past this point and find a new level of insanity to make home for short time, until they grow bored of that and work their way to a newer, lower point on their long march to to the gates of Hell.

Trek high end bikes are pretty nice but it’s one brand I can now cross off my list.

All the better bikes out there put way better packages on their frames for the same or competitive prices. Unfortunately many of the niche manufacturers that I really like are a bunch of hipster douchebags with socjus missions I’d rather not support. Maybe it’s time for that custom steel Merlin touring frame.

Screw em. I’ll miss following Neff and her World Cup run, especially since she started racing ‘cross (the discipline, not as a tranny). Oh well.

"While we support the right to free speech, we will hold people accountable for their words"

If you're "held accountable" (meaning punished, including even by confiscation, imprisonment, beatings, and murder) for your words, then how can it continue to be called "the right of free speech"?

You have the right to be stamped out by us.

That's all their talk of "rights" amounts to.

There's a silver lining: it's been years since I've heard a liberal recite that supposed Voltaire quote: "I disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." They never did really mean it, but they've stopped pretending to, which is nice.

Blogger nswhorse October 01, 2020 8:47 PM

You can probably guess who has become the poster boy for fighting 'systemic racism' and increasing 'diversity' in procycling.

I hope one day Whites everywhere in all walks of life will start calling this racial animus for what it is. Stop apologizing-- no White guilt.

The genre is ripe for serious damage. Maybe bring back the Can-Am style, no-rules-racing? Just make sure no one lets Porsche in the door, the 917 won races by 30 minutes. Killed the series.

Trek is the number one sponsor of NICA. Get em while they’re young. It’s time to part ways with that organization. Operate a club, not a team. Inclusivity is their mantra. You can include people without making a show of it.

In my state, NICA/Trek funded a $10K operation to get kids from an urban area on bikes. Gave away tons of free bikes that were trashed, sold, or stolen before they could get one practice going.

The MTB community is polluted with this thinking.

Blogger Rowan October 02, 2020 6:19 AM

Tinker is still amazing on the bike. I met him a few years ago at an industry event. He was quiet and humble, shredded trails like a maniac, and was very free with advice and coaching. Didn’t seem like a diversity humper himself, but that doesn’t stop others from using him as a poster boy for “inclusivity.”

I'm neck-deep in the cycling world, and while I don't know Quinn personally, 2 good friends do.

He's a fearless kid, very confident, and he should be, he has more talent than Lance (who had a lot) but without the dope & baggage.

He'll be World Champ soon enough. He did issue a "sorry, not sorry" apology, which we all would have advised against, but soon he'll be in a "fuck all y'all' position.

“that’s right [American flag icon]” From Quinn.

The enemy, the nemesis, the foe puts people on eggshells. Imagine living with them? An SJW drinking night with many many talking points. That aside, we need to not apologise and calmly and confidently show our support for Trump, for the American constitution and for the founding fathers.

Thanks.

@44

"He's a fearless kid, very confident, and he should be, he has more talent than Lance (who had a lot) but without the dope & baggage."

Really? Lance wouldn't be my favorite guy on a personal level, but he deserved every one of those Tour-de-France wins.

Everyone, literally all the Tour level cyclists dope, and have for many years. European Bicyclists call it 'medicine,' and admit that everyone takes said meds. And, they still 'All' do.

Greg Lemond is a lot more likeable then Lance, I'll give him that.
