Evil in high places

Attorney Lin Woods makes some serious charges about Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts:

This may be most important tweet of my life.

Chief Justice John Roberts is corrupt & should resign immediately. Justice Stephen Breyer should also resign immediately. They are “anti-Trumpers” dedicated to preventing public from knowing TRUTH of Donald Trump re-election.

In discussing Donald Trump in phone conversation in 8/19, Justice John Roberts stated that he would make sure “the mother f#*ker would never be re-elected.” Roberts engaged in phone conversations with Justice Stephen Breyer discussing how to work to get Trump voted out.

Corruption & deceit have reached most powerful office in our country - the Chief Justice of U.S. Supreme Court. This is a sad day for our country but a day on which we must wake up & face the truth. Roberts is reason that SCOTUS has not acted on election cases.

Rumors about Roberts being compromised have been around for years. His unexpected and remarkably incompetent defense of ObamaCare pretty much confirmed the rumors in most intelligent observers' minds. So this would hardly qualify as a surprise, considering everything else that is happening of late.

It would be hard to make a movie about this, though. Imagine trying to build the tension up to the moment when the intrepid, embattled attorney struggles with his decision to... tweet.

Blogger SecondComingOfBast December 17, 2020 6:22 PM

They've got something on Roberts. They probably hit him with it right before he had that fainting spell way back. I don't remenber exactly when or where it was but I think it was on the steps of the Capitol sometine after Bush named him Chief Justice. Probably something obvious like taking bribes to decide a case a certain way. Or maybe something even more heinous.

Stephen Breyer is just another left-wing clown who purposely interprets the phrase "well-regulated militia" according to a 20th century definition that gives the federal government more power, as oppossed to the correct meaning when written in the 1780's intended to limit the federal governments power.

In Michigan, today's newscasts were full of the recount in the county which shows "after an audit" that Trump was only undercounted by 12 bvtes.

For some reason they stopped pressuring the attorney general to charge Powell with a crime for suing the state, and calling for her to be disbarred for life.

Weird stuff going on.

As for judges, the ones on the federal bench here in Michigan have been corrupt since I passed the bar, at least, with one being so corrupt he can't hear organized crime cases anymore. Still on the bench, of course. Goldsmith, one of the newer Dems, took money from the Chaldean mafia to block the deportations. Not one sanction of any kind against him. People just shrug.

We'll see where this line of attack goes, as so often the case it may just get dropped and go nowhere.

Congress is not the only impediment. With how contentious selection of Justices currently is, impeaching one is impossible for all practical purposes. First it admits you were wrong the first time so the opposition will naturally be emboldened. Second if you impeach one of their picks then of course that's a casus belli.

And the same problem in the U.S. Federal bureaucracy, employees are supposed to be hard to fire so that they can be neutral. But we have ended up with a lefty deep state that we can't get rid of short of something drastic. I.e. Obama whistleblowers are fired or jailed while a sitting U.S. Senator is not even allowed to mention Trump whistleblower Eric "Salmonella 's" name (or vermicelli or fettuccini or whatever).

His name is on a flight log of Epstein's jet. Unfortunately, "John Roberts" is a common name. But, the pilot knew who he was on sight, (other times he indicated "unidentified" or left it blank). My other comment was has anyone watched Viva Frei 's YouTube channel? He is a lawyer who has about a two plus hour live show every Sunday night at 7pm est with another lawyer named Robert Barnes. Not being a lawyer myself, I enjoy the show because they tend to stick to topics dear to my heart: Rittenhouse, Election, the St. Louis Bonnie and Clyde... And there viewpoints are a little too moderate for my tastes. But this Barnes guy seems to know his stuff and his way around the legal world. Barnes says that Lin Wood is basically a fraudster, that he's in debt up to his eyebrows, that there is $800,000 missing from the money raised in the Rittenhouse defense that Lin Wood is/was a part of. That Rittenhouse's mother is asking where the money is. That Wood's former partners sued him. That Wood is psychologically unstable. That a lot of lawyers wanted to help out on the Rittenhouse defense on the cheap including Robert Barnes, but basically wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole once Lin Wood and his partner became involved. Now again, this is what I recall from watching these videos off and on since the Kenosha riots last summer and were the opinions of Robert Barnes and not my own. Insert favorite lawyer joke:

The Constitution of the United States

Article III

Section 1

The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour
...

That bold part is key. Yes, a Supreme Court justice can be impeached and removed from the bench for misconduct, but, as others here have pointed out, 1) it has never happened, and 2) probably won't happen due to the fact that a corrupt and divided Congress is incapable of doing the right thing.

Of course if about 20-25 states get together with that Allen West option (lost his nerve and walked it back). As frustrating as it is...the present system is better than some of the alternatives. The same Boogaloo (sp?) boys, Antifa, or BLM types who go around looking for a fight are the same ones who cry the loudest when their WI-FI goes out.

Lin Wood is clearly getting attacked. Whether or not he's an angel at all other times.

Robert Barnes is clearly bright and an excellent lawyer, but now is running up against the classic failure of 'bright and excellent lawyers' which is what to do when the judges disregard the law.

He's actually very familiar with it, it's happened to him before, he has strategies for it, but for him in the past there was sometimes someone he could get to that would actually follow the law. But here there is no one, no how, not even the Supreme Court.

And he is left to complain on Twitter. Rhetoric is all that remains, and force.

Blogger Cabraxas December 17, 2020 11:13 PM

"Barnes says that Lin Wood is basically a fraudster, that he's in debt up to his eyebrows, that there is $800,000 missing from the money raised in the Rittenhouse defense that Lin Wood is/was a part of. That Rittenhouse's mother is asking where the money is. That Wood's former partners sued him. That Wood is psychologically unstable. That a lot of lawyers wanted to help out on the Rittenhouse defense on the cheap including Robert Barnes, but basically wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole once Lin Wood and his partner became involved."

Barnes is lying. How do I know? I know because NO one in the media's repeating what Barnes said. And media silence on Barnes's accusations does not make sense ----- IF what he's saying is true. That's because the media's desperate to destroy Wood, desperate to broadcast any dirt, any vile insinuation, any bad news on him, anything. Hell, even him kicking his dog would be front page headline in the NY Times. So if Barnes's vile words on Wood were even the slightest, barest, tiniest bit true, the media would be screaming it from the rooftops.

But they're not. The media's gone dead silent. NO one in the media's repeating Barnes's vile accusations, not a single network. Ergo, Barnes is lying; what he says about Wood is not true.

Hear, hear.

I've made a few comments at work lately that have been outside of the current so-called acceptable narrative, and when peoples' eyebrows have shot up in consternation I've said with a bit of a smile, "It's a free country--I get to say whatever I want!" This has generally been met with blank stares, followed by looks that appear to have the thought behind them, "Oh, yeah...that's the way it used to be, isn't it...." The good news is that that's the way it still is. Like anything else, free speech just needs to be exercised a bit, and nobody does a better job of that than our president, bless him.

The pen is only as mighty as those who will hear it. For good, or ill.

Nor have we been wanting in our attentions to our British brethren. We have warned them, from time to time, of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity; and we have conjured them, by the ties of our common kindred, to disavow these usurpations which would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too, have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity.

British: To hell with your speech and ideas!

Colonists: To hell with your speech and ideas.

It's pretty much what it boiled down to.

Anyhow, speech and ideas not put into action is just so much bloviating hot air.

The reference to a phone conversation in 8/19 sounds very specific. I guess Roberts will not dare to sue Lin Woods as long as Trump holds the presidency because he knows the allegations are true. Might this be a Trump move to announce what he has against Roberts before incouraging his people to "leak" the corresponding tapes so that people are more prone to believe the recordings?

I was watching Greg Kelly on NewsMax. They covered that conversation between Roberts and the other Justices about whether or not to reject the hearing on the election case.

If that was true enough to cover, then this telephone conversation probably is as well.

Greg Kelly also interviewed Michael Flynn. He broached the question to Flynn about all of the personnel changes at DoD.

Flynn said that martial law is no big deal. It was invoked 64 times in the past.

I've recently been wondering if there is a Moriarty in control of the other side. Moves and counter moves, with Justice Roberts now in play. One may make many criticisms of the globalists - rampant pedophilia, for example - but there do seem to be fine strategic minds, perhaps one such, countering God Emperor.

Naturally, we aren't talking about the Podesta's of the world, or the various, ahem, over-promoted female mayors stuffing ballot boxes. Nor are we really talking about some some autismo script-kiddies employed by the CIA. No, I'm more thinking about the strategic mind(s) running the show. It's alleged Soros is a 200 IQ psychopath. This would make him smarter than SDL, though of course I dismiss such allegations. Even if true, I don't think Soros is our Moriarty. I suspect Soros is a psychopath mid-wit with a head for numbers. No, our Moriarty is someone else.

I had a vague idea for a novel (yes, I know) on these lines. Doubtless there are some similar. Wherein Satan is actually just a blue-collar Joe (Biden). Literally works in construction. Works hard, does a good job. Has no criminal record at all, well-liked in the community. However, he never sleeps. So for 10-ish hours a day, he schemes and plots, and given he is immortal, has grown a vast network of helpers, very few of whom actually know his name. He works at a President Xi like remove of 5, 10, 15, 100 people, almost-none of whom would be able to spot him at a police line-up. I think our Moriarty is something like this guy. Apologies, haven't read Conan-Doyle, can't say if this is the allegory intended by the writer himself, though it would seem likely.

Which makes Trump Sherlock Holmes. As the Detective himself would say, in his more thoughtful moments: Big Crimes. Many such cases.

Blogger wreckage December 18, 2020 5:51 AM

@121 go out and read some Conan-Doyle, it is tremendously entertaining stuff. He wrote Holmes of course, but also a number of supernatural thrillers/mysteries, and he was a huge boxing fan, there's a number of short stories about that.

If the overhead Supremes altercation is true, I doubt it near-verbatism. More of a second-hand paraphrase rather than a quote,as I imagine Justice Thomas, whom I'll dignify with the title, would have almost certainly said "It will be the end of the Republic."
He knows its not a "Democracy" and was never intended to be, and would be precise even in that moment.

If he starts shouting in Gullah then you really know its bad.

Blogger Cinqueports December 18, 2020 8:40 AM

I doubt that Roberts will sue for defamation. He doesn't want to become a party in litigation subject to discovery. Defamation litigation is notoriously ugly when it involves both personal and professional misconduct as is implied by the Tweet.
More likely Roberts would get back at him via the various state bars that Wood is admitted to. Under the ABA Model Rules (which most state bars adopt as professional disciplinary rules), attorneys are restricted on what they say publicly about judges. In particular, Model Rule 8.2 can be the subject of a bar complaint and can lead to suspension or disbarment. Moreover, professional discipline process is often arbitrary and profoundly biased. Most bar associations are controlled by leftists.
One must hope that Wood has the goods. Otherwise, his statement carries a lot of risk.

Blogger JWM in SD December 18, 2020 9:01 AM

I trust neither Lin Wood nor Robert Barnes. The only one I do trust is Sydney Powell at this point. Apparently Dominion lawyers sent her a letter recently asking her to retract her defamatory statements or they will consider her intent to be malicious.

It raised a question in my mind too.

I hate the GOP for it's failure to fight the Affordable Care Act. The infuriating thing is that it would be the height of simplicity to challenge it in such a way that we win: The Roe v Wade case found a "Constitutional right to the privacy of medical records [from the government]" but the ACA mandates that medical records be accessible to the government. — Push that to the USSC: keep the health care, or the child sacrifice, but not both.

On the other hand, unintentional or not, and I'd guess not: Roberts just handed the God Emperor Trump ALL THE POWER ON THE PLANET! @90 "so that it is common knowledge in the legal community, why hasn't the other side jumped on this with both feet?"

Because turnabout's fair play. If THEY start pointing accusing fingers at sharp lawyers, and Barnes does seem awful sharp, then their OWN slimy behavior will be put out into the news...

And cause someone above asked:
A lawyer has a client drop by his conference room for a brief consult; the lawyer handles the question and says,
"That'll be $1,000."
The client peels off a thousand-dollar bill, sets it on the table, and leaves.
The lawyer gathers his papers to leave the room too, and picks up the money. You know how brand new bills sometimes stick together really hard? Well, the lawyer realizes the client left not one $1,000 bill, but two! So. Now the lawyer has a quandary.

Sure there is, it's just like taking a long shot with a rifle. The longer the shot, the more likely the failure. On the other hand, the better the conditions are understood, and the higher the degree of control and discipline, the more likely the success.

Also, people were planning general events generations ahead of time several thousand years ago, what makes you think the even further reaching cooperative conspirants of today wouldn't be able to plan and direct things a piddling three years in advance?
