Curiouser and curiouser

The State Department claims President Trump's term ended today.

Donald J. Trump

PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

JANUARY 20, 2017 - PRESENT

Donald J. Trump's term ended on 2021-01-11 19:48:42.

Wait and see.... Secretary of State Pompeo is now live and babbling about Uzbekistan and Voice of America, expanding freedom and democracy, and American exceptionalism. He may be leading up to something, but whatever it is, we're clearly not there yet.

UPDATE: President Trump Speaks in Alamo, TX. Scheduled for Jan 12, 2021

UPDATE: Sources tell BuzzFeedNews a "disgruntled staffer" is behind the State Department site's change of Trump and Pence's biographies.

  1. For me it says 19:40:00 for the time, and others I have seen screenshots of say other times all around within 20 mins of yours posted and what I see. Which is another oddity that it isn't a static time but must be generated somehow dynamically.

    ReplyDelete
  2. If that's GMT, we're talking less than an hour ago? But if it's any American time, it's in the future…?

    ReplyDelete
  3. When I click it claims the time it ended is "19:40:07," which is different from yours, but both of which are (for now) in the future.

I think it's probably nothing more than a glitch.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Hmmm, Why doe they say endED if that deadline is in 4 and a half hours? they don't want to go back and change it tomorrow? Seems weird

  5. Latest totally unconfirmed intel report is... it begins in hours.

  10. In fact, judging from the time stamp, they appear to be predicting that his term will end in about four hours. Should be an interesting night.

  11. Begs the question "Who is in charge"?

  12. My screenshot of their site shows 19:40:42 ending time for some reason. Took screenshot to save it.

    ReplyDelete
  13. That time hasn't happened yet, so not certain what that means. It also says that Pence's term ends today as well. Interesting though.

the time changed since the post but the date stayed the same when I looked it was 19:40:41

    ReplyDelete
  18. Either a mind frak, an error, Trump will resign (effective that time and date), or the military will "take over" and Trump will be no longer be President that way.

    Who knows anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Is that because the military is now in charge?

Surely not, but it really doesn't mean much either way. Legislators have no real responsibilities. She'll leave, more likely to jail than to the VP seat, and either way no one will know she's gone. The governor will replace her and nobody will care.

This isn't a matter where you're leaving your boss or your customers hanging, so there is no need to transfer projects or worry about continuity.

About 40-50% of the time I can get 'Home' to pop up with about 6-15 posts on it, after a long wait. Quite possibly the original design was poor for upgrading to massive use, and if this is so, this will likely keep going on for a long time. If these problems keep going on for the next 10 days, Torba will have lost a great opportunity. BTW, I wish him and Gab well, yet I expected this (didn't hope for it though).

I've been only successful accessing "The Great Awakening" about twice, after a long wait in the past 72+ hours. No frustration here, just wished they'd prepared better. It was obvious that Twitter would shut down all Right of center voices, and it was obvious that many would go to Gab.

Sorry if this is OT but I keep seeing people posting links to Simon Parkes...

    This Simon Parkes?
https://youtu.be/VFgTp8ivlaI (sorry; I am ignorant of how to do the links)

Can anyone explain why one should entertain his opinions?

    1. The easiest way to demonstrate that Simon Parkes is a crank is on his own site.

  146. A person who was a Republican party election monitor would have treated election day as a day of great importance, a day of being extremely focused, watchful, vigilant.

Republican party election monitors are being called morons by the party's angry base. This angry base is essentially saying their own party cannot be relied upon to administer a project as complex as assuring election integrity.

I watched, and that dipshit Simon Parkes claims in the latest video he's been talking to Q himself.
    SMH.
If Q exists he sure as hell is not talking to some New Age loon whos telling his audience what they want to hear as fast as he can make shit up, as if what hes talking about, he would be telling if he believed it. Loose lips.

Guess hes credible because he has a Brit accent?

    1. Sounds like we saw the same video. He said something like 200 military personel have been working on this ever since the Kennedy assasination.

Who is he anyway? Does he have some connection with MI5 or MI6? The only information I can find about any Simon Parkes is about some British sailor who disappeared years ago.

    2. He claims his mom was MI5, and that she worked with the NSA on UFO crashes. Yes, really. Check the "About" link on his own page. (I linked it a few posts up, don't want to excessively spam it here.)

  149. So when I checked archive.org, I see that both the directory (not otherwise valid far as I can find) and the page were created at 19:31:06, and disappeared about half an hour later.

So does sound like "employee hates Trump and was being a jerk".

Side note: the Usurper declared war on the NRA. That'll go well...

  150. The Alamo in San Antonio is in the middle of the city surrounded by tall buildings. It's a really bad place to be if you are being hunted by killers. We know President Trump endures near constant assassination attempts.

Alamo on the border really might be safer, since he's got AMLO on his side.

Remember the Alamo is still a rallying yell. It never went away.

What happened between / during 1940 and 1941?

  152. "163... alien sex simon..."

He's not in the worst company, considering Genesis 6:1-4, AKA what some would call alien sex Biblical Edition.

  153. "What happened between / during 1940 and 1941?"

    1940 happened between 1939 and 1941... right.
    1941 happened a year later.

  155. The most interesting part about Mike Pompeo's talk was: that he was talking calmly and with confidence about what they would be doing in the future.

Which is not what someone who expected his political opponents to take over in a few days would say.

I thought that was the real message.

  156. @VD, How's this for "curious" -- not only does the 'donald-j-trump' URL for the first term of POTUS Trump now redirect to the home page after a few different changes (first it went to a 404 NOT FOUND page) but NOW there is a Biography page with 'donald-j-trump-2' URL that is newly active, and it is still live as of 2am EST:

    https://archive.is/https://www.state.gov/biographies/donald-j-trump/

https://archive.fo/https://www.state.gov/biographies/donald-j-trump-2/ "JANUARY 20, 2017 - PRESENT" is all it says right now. Might be an oopsie that they forgot to nuke, or... #TrustThePlan ?

  157. Newscaster312: Simon Parkes is credible not only because of his plumby British accent but also because he has a cute cat that crawls over him while he talks. Oh, and he has "my sources" keeping him informed.

At least Parkes is not a despair monger. Good that there are others apart from Vox to keep up the morale. If you know of any others please direct me to them, I love hope.

  159. I took a road trip with friends in 2002 from Silicon Valley to New Orleans, on the way back from gator watching on a swamp boat, we decided to visit the Alamo. Being before the age of smartphones we opened our road atlas and found Alamo, TX, just past Brownsville on the border. Once we arrived we were incredulous to find that the place looked like it had been recolonized by Mexico, at least they didn’t ask for ID at the 7-11!

Somewhat confused, especially when asking for directions to “the Alamo” we were told, “yeah it’s the next exit and you’re there”, we called my friends dad to aid us in the search for the phantom fort. He told us, “I hope you know the Alamo fort is in San Antonio, it was named after Alamo, Texas!” Somewhat embarrassed but undeterred we spent the night in quaint Alamo, drove 240 miles to visit the actual Alamo the next day and then another 869 miles to Tucson, Arizona, all within 24 hours! God bless youthful enthusiasm and President Donald J. Trump!

And you have evidence to the contrary rather than, you know, just expecting people to automatically hold it as ridiculous because you yourself do? I'll leave all possibilities open, thanks, chump.
