TEN Republicans join Democrats to impeach Trump for a second time - by 230 votes to 197 - for 'incitement of insurrection', but Senate leader Mitch McConnell rules out trial until AFTER president leaves office.

I've never been more convinced that The Storm is approaching. Seriously, what on Earth could possibly be the point of this? Or, more pointedly, what on Earth is this supposed to prevent?

Also, in what may or may not be related news, the Italian government is looking very likely to collapse before this weekend. This means Matteo Salvini should be the favorite to return to power at the head of Lega in the elections that the unstable PD-M5-IV alliance was formed to prevent.

THANK YOU. Assuming the plan is to actually act at some point, great. But should the plan fail, all of that will be put in place. I don't see the country making it to VD's 2033 prediction intact to break up should that happen. What I see is DC calling the UN for peacekeepers to begin gun confiscation and the whole thing deteriorating from there when China sends a quarter million of them. There will be an insurgency by end of 2021. In fact I believe that's the plan that the CCP has in mind. They *want* the US to melt down into a civil war that they will then claim they have to justification to intervene in probably using the excuse of all of the nukes. We will get a sequel to the Great Leap Forward.

Now, at the moment there is a whole lot of weird military air traffic over CONUS. The National Guard is apparently making the politicos in DC uncomfortable. Fairly certain that the plan involves America suffering a near-death experience specifically to shock us into altering our behavior moving forward so that this cannot happen again for another 80-100 year cycle. I have hope that this will be handled by those under oath fulfilling that oath in an official capacity.

Of, course, I've also made sure the new LPVO on my AR15 is properly zeroed, and my plate carrier is in order as well as my sidearm situation. Definitely stepping up the workouts, too. Trump resuming his presidency is a distant second to stopping a socialist purge.

The Constitution sanction for conviction after impeachment is removal from office, and a bar to being a Federal EMLLOYEE.
Conviction is NOT a bar to being elected to Federal office, see Alcee Hastings, impeached and convicted as a Federal Judge for bribery, who is now serving as an elected Representative inbthe House.
If Trump leaves office, the imoeachment is moot. It can do nothing.
As was discussed after Clinton, State and Federal criminal charges could be brought against Trump, but probably NOT for acts taken as President.
I hope that Trump can pull this out, because the alternative bothers me. :-)

He's been posting regularly daily for at least the past 4 years. His site, in general, is up under both domain names. He thought his DNS was going to get pulled so he got a backup for that.

Yes. It's indistinguishable. For example, the Fauxpeachment II is most likely Pelosi hedging her bets against Trump moving directly into a second term. But she also may have initiated it anyway regardless, just because she could.

Whatever happens, there is no reconciliation between the 2 Americas.
