Putin bitchslapped Creepy Joe

Not-President Greenscreen has been reading some tough lines about the Russian leader. But the historical reality is just a little bit different:

I documented what happened at Joe Biden’s one and only meeting with Vladimir Putin in my book Joe Biden Unauthorized. I can attest that the title of my chapter on the incident – Bitch Slapped in Moscow – is the actual truth.

Biden got bitch slapped, and he’s pretending he didn’t.

Putin knows what happened. He was there. He knows he compromised Joe Biden, who appeared unprepared to deal with the ruthless, former-KGB agent. Regardless, Joe continues to perpetuate his “I was the tough guy” lie.

As Joe Biden’s White House stenographer, I stood directly behind Putin at a distance of five feet. Biden, seated across from Putin at an elegant conference table, was about 12 feet from me.

About 10 minutes into the meeting, Vice President Biden attempted to start lecturing about his decades-old part in U.S.-Russian negotiations with the dreaded phrase, “I’ve been around a long time. The first time I was here…”

And… cut.

Joe Biden got about one sentence further into that spiel when off went his microphone, off went the lights for the TV cameras, and stern Russian voices were commanding the press to leave. And leave they did.

They went out quickly and efficiently, with videocameras popping off of tripods. Equipment snapping shut. Portable lights clattering down retractable poles. No one spoke, and no one dared linger.

This was Putin in all his KGB ruthlessness. Whether by some prearranged signal or simply an undisclosed time limit, he had pulled the plug and done the unthinkable: he’d stolen Joe Biden’s audience and rendered him speechless. Shut him down in mid-sentence with the flick of an invisible switch.

Across the table, I could see Vice President of the United States Joe Biden, in the now dimly lit room, looking as duped as an exhausted fish in the bottom of a boat. No protest, no complaint. No, hey, I wasn’t finished. Nothing. He was humiliated.

To me, the revelation was the premeditated precision of the snub. Putin or his team had likely plotted this all out. They knew exactly what bait to use, exactly how Joe Biden would take it, and then when he did, they reeled him helplessly in.

The Russian President and his delegation sat calmly and coldly as their American counterparts realized their blustery leader’s big moment had been stolen right out from under him. The most powerful man in Russia had neither fear nor respect for Joe Biden. He had just played with him for sport.

Putin knows. He knows a lot more about what's actually going on than we do.

"Putin knows what happened. He was there."

Are we sure Joe Biden was there? Was

Blogger Conan the Cimmerian March 19, 2021 10:11 AM

And Putin is currently bitchslapping Joe in the now:

"Update (1730ET): In addition to the tit-for-tat slur-trading, Russian President Putin told a Russian state television reporter:

“I’ve just thought of this now... I want to propose to President Biden to continue our discussion, but on the condition that we do it basically live, as it’s called. Without any delays and directly in an open, direct discussion. It seems to me that would be interesting for the people of Russia and for the people of the United States.”

A live TV debate?

“I don’t want to put this off for long. I want to go the taiga this weekend to relax a little,” Putin said.

“So we could do it tomorrow or Monday. We are ready at any time convenient for the American side.”

The Russian leader also said he wished Biden "good health."

“I would say to him: 'Be well.' I wish him good health. I say that without any irony, without jokes,” Putin said.

Given that it has been over 60 days since President Biden has taken questions in a formal press conference, we suspect The White House will not be jumping at the chance; though we are sure Biden will suggest "taking him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him."

Yup - which is why I fear and respect Russia more than China. Said it once, say it again - China is playing a very dangerous game thru can’t win by trying to get the US & NATO embroiled in a war with Russia. Even if China ends up controlling the West (which it certainly is tracking that way) , will do them zero good if the West is utterly useless to them. Germany found out the hard way in 1942, 43, and 44 when they tried to use France to bolster there Western front. Same fate awaits China.

Blogger Jon W March 19, 2021 10:17 AM

Ahh, so the push for war with Russia back before Trump makes sense now. Biden is actually a gamma.

Blogger J Melcher March 19, 2021 10:23 AM

I consider it a sin of omission that we Western (Roman Catholic and Mainline Protestant) Christians of our era have not made aggressive outreach efforts to our Eastern Orthodox Christian Brothers (and, er, Sisters and -- if they exist, about which I am skeptical -- others).

The Russian Orthodox in particular have a strong community in the US. They were essentially financed by the Russian Czar and after Lenin, the RusOrth struggled with the Western/Protestant model of surviving on the donations of the faithful. But they have survived. (Just as Anglicans in the US survive without support from the UK government or monarchy).

Evangelicals collectively have made more outreach to Israel than to Russia, so far as I know. Not that there aren't people of Russian heritage among non-Christian Israelis.

A Polish Pope and a Polish labor union leader seem now to have been among the anointed to lead the struggle against the Russian atheist occupation. It's a pity, a failure, and a sin we haven't "capitalized" on that victory.

("We" -- Methodists, in my case. At the moment and in this century "We" seem to be more interested in alliances with small local groups of the sexually confused than with continental empires of Christian cousins in more traditional families.)

My concerns with Putin are:
1. Why he or his administration aren't doing more to improve the living standards of Russians and make sure more of the wealth of Russia or produced by Russian remains in the hands of Russians.
2. Why he or his administration aren't doing more to resolve the demographic crisis Russia is experiencing.
3. Why he or his administration allowed the deployment of a DNA altering Adenovirus delivery vector vaccine for the nothing burger birus, even if their not-vaccine was internally developed.
4. Why he or his administration have allowed the coup in Ukraine to happen and haven't invaded and annexed Ukraine.
5. Why he or his administration are allowing Belarus to tentatively follow in the path of Ukraine and play both NATO and Russia against each other.

Blogger Barbarossa March 19, 2021 10:38 AM

@7 Why, oh why, would any Orthodox church be interested in "outreach" with some diseased, converged Western church? When you see a rabid possum wandering loose in the daylight, the only outreach required is a well-aimed round to the head to end the poor creature's suffering.

I'm mildly surprised that Orthodox churches haven't openly tried to poach the laity at Catholic churches, but the same principle may be at work.

With the possible exception of DC, it is doubtful Russia or China would employ a strategy of attacking civilian centers. In a post-industrial west, where wars are fought and won pushing buttons over a course of a few days, what would be the point? More likely targets are Guantanamo, Diego Garcia, Guam, Okinawa, maybe Pearl Harbor, etc - military bases.

Civilian centers can be attacked with cyber weapons with almost as powerful of a strategic effect without the imagery of charred teddy bars and dust shadows of former people embedded on brick walls.

Besides, how many people in LA, NY are, consciously or not, doing yeoman's work for Russia and China by undermining the nation internally? Surely they can find better targets than their own simpering fiends?

They are not converged to western wokeness, but after 1944(at least in the south, where there were still churches) the Orthodox leadership was infiltrated by communist state agents. Those agents are still running the show, just doing it sneakier than their western comrades. Otrhodoxy itself is not as cucked, yet, but the Orthodox churches(which are by no means united, or even friendly to each other) are essentially state agencies.

To add to your point in the current era (or perhaps last one, if this one is shifting) nukes are more costly to use for their damage than political means such as funding antifas or forcing in refugees. Fire off a very expensive nuke, eradicate a small area and gain the ire of the world. Or pay a few million to Soro's network to cause subversive riots that cost money AND state legitimacy to deal with for generations and keep your hands clean.

You are correct. Tax funded, fully subservient to whatever government flavour.
Somehow, a lot of us Christian nationalists advocate for heresy laws and some kind of return to the blue law standards.
Failing to realize that one brother's heresy is another brother's gospel.
As someone who's ancestors escaped religious persecution in Europe, I'm always skeptical of calls for the reunification of church amd state.
Like Weimar Germany, the pendulum will swing predictably all the way, and in our modern deepstate framework, that swing will exceed any of the last two thousand years of Christian persecution.
My uncle and a pastor in the SDA denom went to the Ukraine several times, starting in the mid nineties. They established a lot of churches. The young people were thirsty for a fundamental christian message. The government's orthodox arm extension, known by many here as the last bastion of Christian leadership, was so converged and derelict, the people simply didn't have the gospel message. Blame it on USSR communism but that would be missing the point.
In Greece its stated on your driver's license whether you belong to the Orthodox church.
To think that the eastern churches will do anything other than act out the eternal conservative vs liberal charade when dealing with Rome is foolish.
That said, I'm fond of Orthodox practice and would much prefer it over catholicism as a new Pharisee government branch.

Pretty soon, the president’s handlers will have to forbid him to open his pie-hole in public altogether. No more one-on-one interviews even with slow-pitch party shills like Mr. Stephanopoulos. @10: It's not an infatuation with Putin. It's a respect for a man who is playing a weak geostrategic hand with consummate skill.

Modern Russia has been stripped of the Baltic States and the Ukraine. The former Warsaw Pact...hell, they're part of NATO - the part that pays its bills. Yet Russia stays in the Great Power game. Mostly because Putin plays those his cards well. He used oil money to buy the German government, leveraged that into a paralysis of NATO. Tries to pry Turkey out of the NATO orbit. Wrings cash out of the USA when we abandon our own ability to launch astronauts.

We don't have to like the man, nor agree with him, to respect his skill.

@4: Nuke? Nuclear weapons are obsolete. I'm working on a paper on the subject. World War II-style strategic bombing didn't work well, the bombs were too inaccurate. Nukes could do the job, but with obscene collateral damage. But modern precision-guided munitions? You can hit what you wanted to hit...and ONLY what you wanted to hit.

If I had a B-2 clone, with a full load of 16 2,000-lb JDAMs, I could pull a number on DC. Either fly through on a weekday and hit the Capitol, Congressional office buildings, White House, and the E-ring of the Pentagon...or fly through at 0330 local and take out the bridges crossing the Potomac. That latter is a NASTY option...minimal loss of life, maximum misery.

Putin probably wants Biden lucid enough to fully appreciate his own imminent downfall.

How can one look at a country with a figurehead like Biden, and not conclude said country should be terminated as divine justice? Obviously the men of the place are worthless. I can't even think of a method of execution for Biden that would be sufficiently cruel while still Biblically permissible.

Ok, how about burn him alive toes-first in a self-feeding fire so it lasts a few hours.

Blogger Jack Ward March 19, 2021 12:53 PM

How about this: Puten has threatened nuclear stikes on military targets if the US goes socialist. What if he sends several Russian subs into US territorial waters, or uses their hypersonic torpedoes. This strategy would avoid launching icbm's with less chance of triggering the big one. These should be relatively small to not produce too much sunami activity. They might not even have to be nuclear, or if nuclear then tiny tactical neutron weapons if they have them. This would be a big hint. And, all are set to blow at the same moment, say at noon eastern.
If it worked the election of 2020 would rerun, properly supervised and watched over by something other than deep state. Afterwards, President Trump is reinstaled in the White House; he names Putin vice president and Putin names Trump second in command of Russia. They agree to meet face to face at least once a month alternating between DC and Moscow. Afterall, we've already had at least one non qualified President in obama and kamela is probably not qualified. Sounds strange I know, but at this point I don't see us having much to lose. Maybe someone should write a novel.

1. Russian living standards have improved drastically since the 90's, they had a setback with US sanctions in the 2010's, and just kicked out the Rothschilds a year ago with the gov't having a positive balance sheet. We'll see if they can get back on track now that they are free of the bankers
2. Now that the bankers are kicked out, he is working on the demographic crisis. They've gone from 1.2 children per woman to 1.8, we'll see if he and the Russian Orthodox Church can pull off what Georgia did as they are now copying them.
3. That is an excellent question that I wonder too.
4. Stopping the coup in 2014 would trigger a war with NATO, Russia's strategy is to wait for NATO to collapse after the US collapses. Why fight a war with an enemy who will die soon anyway?
Russia has no desire to occupy western Ukraine, where the population would see them as occupiers. Eastern Ukraine and Crimea see the Russians as liberators and are on their side.
5. I was under the impression the dictator of Belarus has been exceedingly grateful to Putin for helping him crush the Soros color revolution attempt in Minsk, but I'm open to being wrong.

@11 Barbarossa
I'm mildly surprised that Orthodox churches haven't openly tried to poach the laity at Catholic churches, but the same principle may be at work.

The limit is how many can be catechized in a given period of time, and yes filtering out the poz. 400,000 Maya were received in Guatemala recently, to date this year Orthodoxy in Colombia has grown 25%, in Cuba the first thousand were received with permission to build an actual Orthodox temple. In Kenya Alexandria is averaging 100,000 converts a year, but mostly from "traditional" religions. Orthodoxy is the fastest growing religion in Italy, so maybe the Darklord will be able to experience a Divine Liturgy soon!

Gotta love this: Just a few hours ago, Candace Owen invited Putin to appear on her show after saying that Biden declined to debate him for mental health reasons.

Putin does very well in such situations. He answers non-scripted questions in a multi-hour TV show televised once per year.

I recall that the Useful Idiots wanted to set up a studio for video blogging in Damascus and wanted to interview Assad???. In response Rolling Stone recently fired them for wrongthink.

Putin has done very well for his people. He took back much of the economy from the oligarchs by 'making them offers they could not refuse.'In response to sanctions Russia found other sources, often internal, as replacements.
.
He has partially decoupled Russia from the international financial system. Eastern Ukraine used to be the location of the USSR aviation industry. Thanks to US sanctions they could no longer sell to Russia so Russia built their own plants, including for making gas turbines. Ukraine could not find other customers, except for China recently. Sanctions also blocked many Ukraine ag product from sale to Russia. The EU will not buy them either. So Ukraine is screwed thanks to the US.

Back when the Duran had US ex pat Peter on he would describe how much life in Moscow had improved.

For the Putin haters here .... The US armed AQ and indirectly armed ISIS, which was advancing on Damascus. The US approved and did nothing. It was the Russians (and Iran backed militias?) who saved Syria from ISIS.
Russian public schools teach Christianity. I remember when they were the Godless evil empire. Now the US is.

For info on Syria check out The Grayzone sometime. Even rabid leftist Trump haters aren't always wrong.

Doing more than what?

You literally have no idea what you are talking about.

The Russian government is paying married couples to take time off to get the wives pregnant.

Are you suggesting that Russia start importing 3rd world mystery meat assholes to pollute their culture, like Germany and the western countries plus NZ and Oz have been doing for decades?

Because as we have seen, importing brown mystery meat is slow-motion suicide.

In my defense, I did say simpering "fiends", not "friends."

Soviets supported the western Left w it's libertine streak precisely because it was destructive. They had no use for the degeneracy at home.

This is a point well taken. For the servants of darkness, you are provided with resources while you are useful. When you have fulfilled your usefulness, you are no longer provisioned.

But a parcel of bootlickers and agitators like Hollywood are useful idiots for the duration of the whole theoretical war, and long after.

It's not looking good right now, but I can still conceive of more positive scenarios, and sooner than we may imagine. Alexander Mercouris gave a long analysis of the Biden Putin incident. There was a leaked document, the "long telegram" possibly from the US SOS or someone close to him outlining the US strategy towards Russia. The document said that the US estrangement from Russia over the past decade was a big mistake and the US should try to make nice with Russia to prevent Russia from getting even closer with China.

Instead, Biden calls Putin a soul-less killer. Russia and Putin are insulted and Russia withdraws their ambassador. Some prominent Russian pro western politicians are pissed off and want nothing to do with the US. This view was echoed by Putin. Russia is sending their senior diplomat to Peking next week.

Alexander is wondering how Biden could screw this up so bad.

She doesn't understand it Russia.

Russian bureaucrats have always been paid a mere pittance as salary. They were expected to make a living by providing services. They don't get paid huge salaries from taxpayer money -- they make money by DOING THEIR JOB. If they don't do their job, like processing applications for this, that and the other thing, then they don't get paid by the applicant.

On one of my visits to Russia, I made a calendar mistake on my visa application -- I listed as my intended entry date a day later than when my Aeroflot flight (I highly recommend Aeroflot for trans-Atlantic travel. As much leg room in coach on the NYC (JFK) - St. Petersburg (LDG - Sheremetyevo) flight as what other airlines have in business class!).

The passport control officer typed up a new visa for me, and charged me $20.

I was happy as a lark. If I had shown up at my hotel with the original visa (who, as part of the check-in procedure, take your passport and visa and turn them over to immigration IMMEDIATELY -- to track where foreign visa holders are staying) who knows what would have happened, but I am sure it would not have been good, or would have cost me MUCH more money AND TIME to get straightened out.

UNLIKE the U.S., Russia actually keeps track of where all visa holders are staying, and make sure that people don't overstay visas. The U.S. will report you if you overstay, and give you a letter telling you that you are barred from entry for anything from 3 to 10 years.

Russia will throw you in the slammer long enough that you won't ever risk that mistake again, and then deport you.

Putin is a Russian, and knows well what his people expect from a leader, and he delivers it. The Russians love him, or at least tolerate him willingly for now.

An American leader for Americans would look very different, more like a Nationalist version of Trump. We expect more virtue and fewer corpses from our leaders.

While I agree with you, I believe the term "great' could be applicable without attempting to pigeonhole Putin in any moral way. The appellations 'great' or 'terrible' could be fitting in this instance, esp. since he is indeed Russian.

Peter the Great was probably more tyrannical than Ivan the Terrible in a few ways.

Blogger Canadian Warlord March 22, 2021 11:01 PM

Putin is more than anything else a creation of the west's desire to fuck Mother Russia.

If you remove the 1990s oligarchs, Boris Yeltsin, the destroyed economy, the looted industry, the friggin ruble being supplanted by JARS OF PICKLES in some regions, do you get Putin?

There's one guy who scared me a lot more than Putin, and before anyone says "Mad Vlad" no I don't mean Vladimir Zhironovsky and his ellipton rays. The scary bastard was Alexander Lebed. He used to berate crowds of Russians who cheered him on ("give us hell Quimby" like the Simpsons). I say "was" because he and 7 others died in a helicopter crash. Some reports have them all surviving until they got to the hospital. Ahem Putin murder cough cough ahem.

Putin is a measure of the west's interference with Russia. How strong he is, can be directly relatable to the amount of crap the west is getting up to in and around Russia. Every NGO makes him a little stronger.

Similarly, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is an excellent bell-weather of how much NATO / ASEAN countries are trying to box in or menace Russia and China and Central Asia generally. Getting long-term enemies like Russia and China on the same page and signing energy agreements, should tell us a thing or two about the leadership we have in the west and what their focus really is.
