Should have made the trade

Before Texans QB Watson became severely damaged goods:

Tony Buzbee says he now represents 12 women who will have claims against Deshaun Watson. “We are now representing 12 women and we will file five more cases in due course,” Buzbee said Friday. “we have spoken to more than 10 additional women.”

Other information learned during Buzbee’s Friday press conference:

7 African Americans / 2 Hispanic / 3 Caucasian

3 married / 1 engaged / all others single mothers

One was referred to Deshaun by Texans

Quincy Avery (HOU QB coach) referred Deshaun to one of his clients

Agent/lawyer for Deshaun showed “dismissive behavior and incredible arrogance,” so had to go public with lawsuits

Buzbee said he doesn’t need the fame & the women don’t want it

Buzbee adds that the Houston Police Department is now looking into the allegations that are being made

An incident happened as recently as THIS month — AFTER they had been in contact with Watson’s camp

Took shots at “Arm Chair Quarterbacks” who wouldn’t say stuff to his face

Buzbee stopped counting after the 10th death threat

Buzbee says he lives near McNair family, but wouldn’t know them if he saw them

As promised, trial lawyer Tony Buzbee filed more sexual assault lawsuits in Harris County, Texas on behalf of Jane Does who claim Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson engaged in inappropriate behavior during massage therapy sessions. Lawsuits No. 4-7 were filed on Thursday and follow a similar pattern as the first three lawsuits brought against Watson, who has remained silent on the matter since releasing a statement on Tuesday claiming he’s done nothing wrong.

We'll see. But in answer to everyone who says "well, why didn't they go to the police?" the answer is simple. The police never do anything about credible accusations like these when sufficiently rich or famous people are involved unless they've been ordered to do so. So no one bothers going to them.

Notice that the police are suddenly getting involved now....

lol. Brilliant minds think alike. I have been hoping (EXPECTING) VD to make a post about Watson all week. If he would have been a good boy and didn't make the league look bad with his antics, all of this would have been brushed under the rug.

Clearly, he pissed off the wrong people. I wonder who ordered the hits on him? The NFL? The TV networks? Rival agents?

I've seen a lot of good anti-racists saying the Texans are behind this, to keep other teams from wanting him. Because it would be great for the team if he went to jail and/or the league had to suspend him, I guess.

No worries, he can always go to the Ravens or Bengals.

The Texans had a toxic lockerroom this past season. Watt said as much and got out.
Since the Texans' management couldn't find dirt on Watt (because he has no dirt), they had to pick SOMEONE to take the fall. Hence why Watson is being #metoo'd. Highly unlikely he is the only one on the roster with this record. I doubt he's even the worst. But... QB.

Blogger Newscaper312 March 19, 2021 9:27 PM

Now think about how many of these big foitball crazy colleges find some attractive young blonde coeds to escort football prospects around on their campus tours. Basically pimping out white girls to the thugs.
Disgusting.

Blogger tuberman March 19, 2021 9:36 PM

Yes, total arrogance is his truth. I figure he's gotten away with plenty of this his whole life, then he just thought he could skate with every one of them. He still believes he's untouchable. That will take on a new meaning.

They feel invincible. Combine that with a lack of morality and they just do what is naturally "triggered" in them to screw everything they can, then assume their wealth and fame will solve any problems if they come up. At least that's my assumption. I've been wealthy before and I felt that way. Thank God I never assaulted anyone, I was raised right, but I definitely had an arrogance that upon reflection; was more then a simple case of pride. I was an asshole that assumed I could charm or buy my way out of any issues. Hence the reason I'm not wealthy anymore. But I like it this way, much easier to start a family and way less pressure/responsibility. Also it allows me to be moral, where in modern corpocracy it's near impossible today. It's war no matter what, against the world even when you're the big guy on the block.

Blogger RJ March 19, 2021 11:02 PM

All of them, Newscaper. There was an article about it on Things Black People Don’t Like a few years ago that detailed such shenanigans at Alabama.

Blogger Jeff aka Orville March 19, 2021 11:04 PM

It ain't just young athletes molesting the masseuses. Keven Costner got busted doing the exact same thing about ten years ago. Then there is Patriots owner Robert Kraft just this past year.

Blogger cyrus83 March 19, 2021 11:10 PM

There has been something bizarre with the Texans for a while now, I wouldn't put it past the team to be behind the initial lawsuits as retribution for Watson's petulant refusal to play for them, particularly considering the article mentions that 2 of the women were referred to Watson by team staff.

The other interesting thing is that all 7 lawsuits filed so far involve behavior post-lockdown last March. That sounds like someone who was used to having women fall over him getting cranky when social distancing took that away.

Blogger WestByGod Bear March 19, 2021 11:11 PM

Makes you wonder if he has a behavior clause in his contract allowing the Texans to remove him from the team without having to take the cap hit or pay his huge contract in the future.

Why would a guy speed when he's driving a stolen car? Why would a guy jump a subway turnstile when he has a felony warrant out for his arrest?

Yes it's dumb, but think of SD zero and realize that half of people are even dumber than that. He was probably already getting away with something else even more illegal.

"The police never do anything about credible accusations like these when sufficiently rich or famous people are involved unless they've been ordered to do so. "

I saw a video a few days ago. Some rando with a dash cam in his sports car witnesses a woman trying to escape from some other car, and the car crashes and she gets ejected and BTFO'd too. Full ragdoll. The driver of that car scoops her up and drives off. The fellow who made the video spends the next 40 minutes white-knighting on wheels as he chases that other car while talking to the cops, shot-calling the whole way, locations, directions, tag number, everything.
Eventually the suspect ditches the girl on the roadside and continues trying to get away from our White Road-Knight. Still no cops.
At the end, he eventually does a very professorial brush off maneuver right out of spy manual and vanishes. He was gone, no cops, nothing.

Yet we are told we "can't outrun the radio" and things like that.
It goes to show that there is no law, no justice, and it's all down to who you know and who you blow. Help is not coming.

Blogger Greg from the Piedmont March 20, 2021 12:28 AM

Deshaun is from my home town. I grew up with his mentors and know the caliber of people they are. Could he have actually done as accused? Yes, he could, humans being what they are. Do I think he did it? No, I don't. What seems more likely to me is that his efforts to get out of Houston made him some enemies who wanted to pay him back for his lack of loyalty.

Blogger Colonel Blimp March 20, 2021 12:28 AM

Your own question contains the answer. Nothing is dumber than a young, not morally grounded guy surrounded by endless women and tons of money.

When the hot lady you just met on the plane gives you a handy over Chicago, you just assume the middling attractive woman who you pay to message you will do the same. Add in being high T and 25 and its easy to get locked into the score and push a little too hard. Watson is an idiot, but society as a whole stopped asking why women keep placing themselves in these positions a long time ago. So rinse, repeat. Only the lawyers prosper

Blogger Colonel Blimp March 20, 2021 12:31 AM

To me Watt is the worst. He's as woke as the rest of them and doubles down when needed. It's cringe.

There's a difference between "excuse" and "reason," and I think the entitled nature of the free ride many athletes get in college poisons their thinking at a critical age. God only knows what shenanigans go on with recruiting and how slutty college girls are thrown around like used socks. It's not an environment that produces the greatest judgement - it's more like a carnival ride of tempting alleys down which "young dumb full of ***" jocks are going to indulge.

I didn't follow Clemson hard through the Watson era, so I never heard any rumors. Same as NFL. Only watched the SB to see Brady. But that the count is SO high to start seems suspicious to me. I can see 1 say something... then a little later another one will speak up. Then a third. Then the dam breaks. This went straight to dam breaking. Then there is the lawyer.

Put me on the side of no idea, let's see the evidence.

Kraft is a good example of what Vox is talking about: he's extremely wealthy and high profile and woke, and he walked.

It's very interesting that the races of the accusers are listed, even if it uses the nonsensical "Caucasian" label, unless they were all Circassian.

Single mothers (non widowed) are basically walking billboards of disfunction. They raise their kids badly as if they are pets they are stuck with. They often times find a black boyfriend and rationalize dumpster diving due to less options as brave and sjw power for likes on fb. And finally as pertaining to the topic at hand, they are simply easy. But all these factors are prob why they were discarded in the first place.

Blogger Colonel Blimp March 20, 2021 8:55 AM

Yep, I don't think Jeep sperh knows what white knighting means. If husband is yelling at his wife in a parking lot, you just assume it's not your biz, but if some random girl is being violently assaulted and kidnapped, duh you try to help. Sad.

To be fair, Mike Vick paid a heavy punishment for dog fighting but I've lost count how many famous black guys have nothing happen for domestic abuse, rape, assault, etc. It's as if liberal pet causes matter more than actual justice or reality.

I like dogs as much as anybody, but I'd rather a dozen dogs lit on fire than a single woman raped. Ben and jerrys boomers would rather you daughters raped and murdered over offending a minority and keeping a functioning border.

Blogger FacelessBro March 20, 2021 11:51 AM

Alternate POV: The Texans are actually excited because Watson's trade prospects will dry up. Thereby forcing him to stay in Houston.

That's assuming nothing comes of the allegations. It's looking increasingly like a "where there's smoke there's fire" situation.

Blogger vmax71 March 20, 2021 1:19 PM

That is an interesting comment Nate. Because he straight up said I wouldn’t recognize McNair if he stood in front of me. That’s really putting himself out there to be caught in a bold face lie. Which is entirely possible that he is lying through his teeth. I’m interested to see his explanation for the statement if it is Shown that he was lying

On a related note I wonder if one of the motivations For what they are doing to Watson is revenge. As I recall McNair made some inmates running the asylum comment a couple years back that the leftists purposely took out of context. I was convinced they would’ve forced McNair to sell the team in the environment that was going on. He appears to be more powerful than I thought.

Blogger Greg from the Piedmont March 21, 2021 1:54 AM

I want to go farther than my earlier comment about Deshaun. I do not believe he did those things of which he is accused. Like I said previously, I have known his mentors for almost 50 years at this point. I know what influences they would have provided him as he was growing up, and I am also well aware of how our town nurtured him because of not only his football skills, but also because he was a quality kid. And he has never shown a single indication of being ungrateful to Gainesville or having taken anything for granted.

I have seen great men and women of God fail, so I would not be able to state with complete surety that he did not do these things, but I can say unequivocally that if he did them, God will sort him out and return him to his faith. And this is as it should be.

If this is an attack based on lies by people trying to damage him because he wants to leave Houston, I hope God exposes them for all to see and absolutely lays them low.

Blogger Unknown March 22, 2021 12:51 PM

Hi, Houston lawyer here. The HPD responded to this press conference saying they have no reports from anyone and are not investigating anything. There's no denying Buzbee's skill as a trial lawyer. But this is him as a politician, which he's shit at. He tried running for Mayor and lost to 'effin Sylvester Turner by 12 points. I guess this can keep him in the news, but I have a hard time taking it seriously.
