The USA is the Adversary

Russia issues a pair of very clear warnings to the US about its continued provocations over Ukraine:

Two detachments of the Russian Army, along with three airborne units, are ready to act in the event tensions with the West escalate into full-blown fighting, Moscow announced on Tuesday following a surprise inspection of troops.

After paying a visit to the soldiers, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu told journalists that the personnel met the standards required for the situation. “The troops have shown full readiness and ability to fulfill the tasks of ensuring the country’s military security,” he said. “Currently, these associations and formations are engaged in drills and exercises.”

Shoigu said that the redeployments had taken place “in response to the military activity of the alliance that threatens Russia.” The move comes amid escalating tension with the US-led NATO bloc and after bloody fighting in eastern Ukraine between Kiev’s forces and two breakaway republics....

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told journalists that there is “absolutely nothing” that requires the Americans’ presence near his country's Black Sea shore, accusing the White House of trying to provoke Moscow.

“Provocative in the literal sense of the word: they are testing our strength, playing on our nerves. They won't succeed,” he said, noting that Washington would also be better off staying away.

“It will be for their own good,” Ryabkov added, also dubbing Washington as Moscow's “adversary.” His use of the term marks a departure from Moscow’s usual manner of referring to the Americans as “partners.” He also accused Washington of “doing everything to undermine Russia's position in the international arena.”

The official's words come after the US told Turkey that two American warships would pass through the Bosporus Strait into the Black Sea next week.

It is often said that there is stupid, there is very stupid, and there is invade Russia stupid. The rule is very simple and straightforward. If your name is not "the Great Chingiss Khan", you do not invade Russia under any circumstances.

And especially not because a Jewish comedian holding political office is sufficiently ignorant of military matters to start a war on its borders. In Ukraine, Clownworld is not a metaphor, it is quite literally Clownworld.

Vladimir Putin has made it clear that Russia does not intend to fight its next war inside its borders. And I don't think he's referring to Ukraine either.

UPDATE: this doesn't bode terribly well.

The Russian navy will hold snap live-fire drills in the Black Sea today as the first of two US warships is expected to arrive, the military has announced. Two missile ships - the Graivoron and Vyshny Volochek - will take part in target practice alongside the missile hovercraft Samum, accompanied by the frigate Admiral Makarov and mine-sweeping ship Ivan Golubets, the Russian navy's Black Sea fleet command said.

If I was Puttin. I would heavily invest in folding chairs, field microwaves and popcorns.

Because while the Wehrmacht was unlikely to win because they did not invest in logistic heavily. They at least had a plan to quickly invade Russia to not rely too much on logistic.

Here NATO has neither the logistic nor the capability to make it to Moscow in less than a week (let alone the Russian border). It will make the french Army invasion of Germany of 1939 look quiet professional in comparaison.

While logistics is vital the US lacks something more important - will. There aren't enough mercenaries or educated immigrants willing to serve and fill the ranks. Hell, may even have some flag officers trying to retire. Stop loss may be imposed for the officers but the hew and cry that will be stirred up trying to keep in the non-coms that are the backbone of any military would be terrific. Especially after the years of trying to feminize the ranks and break their morale. I'd predict one of the largest surrenders of American troops ever, making Bataan look minor.

I have my doubts that the Russians are accurately reading the situation in America right now. They would be better off to go find the History Channel's documentary on Jonestown and what lead up to it than trying to find that American that conforms to their expectations of reason and rationality. Ironically the Soviets funded and supported much of this crap.

If the Russians think there is a tactical level exchange with America they should probably do it sooner rather than later, the women in charge in America think they still have hope but when that is gone and they face ruin they will burn it all down. They would probably not even listen to the Learned Elders of Wye if this comes about.

While there is always quite a bit of theatrics to some of this stuff, with Russia there is a real red line: Crimea. Any real attempt beyond just verbal posturing at prying Crimea away from Russia will lead to the real deal.
For China, that red line is Taiwan. China is willing to play along with whatever rhetoric in this regard but any real attempt to officially separate Taiwan (for instance announcing the U.S. will be establishing a military base there) will be met with real deal war.
The U.S. is currently poking its toes dangerously close to these real red lines.
Strategically speaking, it's hard to picture a situation where conflict with Russia does not turn into a simultaneous conflict with China. The U.S. would lose a conflict with either nation however a conflict with both would shorten the timeline to defeat faster than one can imagine.

As someone said a day or two ago, "war is good for the economy". Temporarily. For those well-connected to the government. (For the rest of us, it's a huge tax bill to follow. See also how we got the federal income tax.) Naturally Biden's cronies want war; their fingers are in those pies and they love the profits, and Biden is a reliable rubber stamp.

And I'm reminded how when the USSR fell apart, I thought it was a huge mistake for Russia to let all the buffer states become independent nations, rather than keeping them more closely in hand, states-in-a-union style (even if Russia would rather not have those administrative headaches). That they'd become spots to play global tug-of-war and global chicken was perfectly predictable.

Hopefully Putin can hold off having to defend Ukraine as the Russian buffer state it really is, until we can eject Biden and get ourselves another Trump.

Tho given China's current posture, methinks if Russia was well-occupied to the west, there'd be an invasion from the south. So guess who's really encouraging our D.C. idiots...

According to the canadian broadcasting communists, Russia put in a un claim for 705,000 square km in the Arctic (~270,000 square miles?).

Recently there's been cnn / ctv stories about Russian buildups in the Arctic but I don't think they're the same area as the claim, which is 200 km from canada's unsettled unused unseen northern line-on-a-map. Reasons?
1)'Suez Crisis' last month. The sea lanes were opening up in the north a couple years ago, and the Russkies have the best icebreakers. Have not checked lately on the status of those lanes, good thing they don't go through Texas. I suspect they're not permanent - perhaps nowadays they don't have to be with satellite information. Any Navy people have more info?
2) Ukraine reprisal - there's no softer boundary than canada's. the federal ndp commie party recently internally proposed the "phasing out" of the military - resolution 04-42-20.

Whether Russia or Ukraine is at fault in the current conflict is immaterial--the US has no business getting involved in their squabble. The same idiots who want to get the US involved are the same idiots who have destroyed the US military. So, all the US would accomplish by getting involved is to get its head handed to it on a plate.

For the one millionth time, it DOES.NOT.MATTER what Biden thinks or doesn't think. He's not being paid to think. Hell, Biden probably has no idea right now where Russia or the Ukraine even are on a map, let alone any awareness that there's conflict between the two. His job is to sit back and fingerpaint with the contents of his Depends until his handlers need him to make a public statement consisting of at least a few vaguely coherent English sentences that at least acknowledge the situation at hand (something that probably takes days, if not weeks, of "medication therapy," and even then with no guarantee of success, as witnessed by his first disastrous "press conference").

No POTUS with any real independent decisionmaking power or two brain cells to rub together would ever dream of ordering what Biden's handlers have ordered in terms of provoking Russia, and certainly no one in Biden's cerebral state would ever legitimately be holding such an office. The question isn't what Biden is thinking, but what his puppetmasters are SMOKING.

It has become more than obvious that the top military brass (Joint Chiefs) were IN on the electoral coup against Trump. They don't like Biden, but he is very easy to control, unlike Trump.

While the middle to lower levels of the military (the actual fighters) were decidedly pro Trump, the leeches with the power of the purse in the brass won out easily.

Had Trump been crazy enough to have declared "martial law", I think they were going to arrest him and charge him with treason. In fact I think they WANTED him to declare "martial law", but he didn't bite.

That's why he went to the Alamo, to signal it was over, he was surrounded, and certian death awaited him if he went too far.

This is the likely scenario in my opinion (it's worst case scenario for the country, social degeneracy coupled with neverending war, the classic death of a democracy) but there's always a little hope for an unexpected development.

In any case going to war with Russia is amazingly stupid but I suppose the idiots in charge figure use it or lose it, Work Force One the replacement military they have planned might be OK to suppress Deplorables, maybe but won't be useful in a real war.

Plus we have serious parts issues with vital system like nukes and stealth bombers (at least older ones) among others and may be quite rapidly becoming a paper tiger.

Of course the Deep State like all such things has several factions. Not all of them want war with Russia if only because its a civilization ending move . More importantly unlike most nations we face , they actually can hurt us domestically without nukes.

Coming through Alaska would be difficult but spec ops guys or a missile attack could destroy Alaskan oil production and if we for a moment lose air superiority, flatten the West coast. Outside of air carft which we have many its a poorly defended target rich environment

"Biden called Putin in order to de-escalate things. Apparently the Americans used the proposal of a potential summit as face-saving-device."

A face to face meeting smells like a trap.
The (((globalists))) could kill 2 birds with 1 stone through a false flag attack, and blame it on "anti-covid white supremaists".
after all, Biden is expenderble.

If Russia attacks the US they need to target Washington DC first.

Be land stealing Ukraine.
Piss off Hungary and steal its land.
Hungary is in NATO.
Surprised Vodkachu face when it denies Ukraine's NATO membership.
Happy Russian noises.

If Russia takes over the Ukraine, it is just karma and good riddance.
